do you remember back in the mid-to-late 80's when some people would snap their fingers as if they were shaking an invisible can of chewing tobacco? haven't thought of that in years, but "rad" reminded me of it. i knew some delts that did that. i don't know if it was a regional thing or a national thing. they were good guys, but that was a weird thing they did.

There's no doubt the graphics and environment look and feel amazing. This games problem is there's just too much crap going on all at once in the same area, all the time. It wish they would include a format with nothing but infantry combat. So much better without all the laser guided rockets. A man, his gun, a few nades and let's rock n roll.

Gonna be great. Just bear in mind that is running on PC, not console.

Like earlier Battlefields, I bet there will be infantry only servers. Even in BC2 there was separation between infantry and vehicles just based on map size.

I'm thinking Battlefield games are just not for you my friend. There's a new Counterstrike game coming out though.

Or call of duty.

Battlefield is just that, a BATTLEFIELD. There is everything on one.

I would never recommend CoD to anyone.

Battlefield games play nothing like CoD. But yeah, I'm tired of the psuedo-realistic military shooters for the most part. I'll probably make an exception for this because it's so pretty and it has destructible environments, but I really wish the industry would move in a different direction.

There are alternatives if you want realism - Operation Flashpoint, Red Orchestra (originally a mod I helped found) to name a few.

I hope the aerial sim is as fun as Warhawk was. I've been craving some dogfighting multiplayer for a while now.

They clearly say the demo is running on a PS3 before they start.

I play Single player only but, so far its not bad. I'm still on the train part. My only gripe so far is how easy to reach a auto save point In COD you get save spots more randomly. I love COD never get tired of it.

People who enjoy playing games on console.

And don't want to buy a new computer every few months.

I enjoy playing games on consoles too -- but consoles are terrible for FPS games. When you have to enable an aim bot to make a game playable/competative with the controls available... there's a problem.

And saying you have to buy a new computer every few months is a massive exaggeration. A top of the line game like BF3 is perfectly playable on 4-5 year old hardware -- just not on max settings (though still far better than possible on a console).
