I don't care how many sacks he gets, honestly. I'm thinking a good realistic number would be 8-10.

I'm more concerned with how he'll play the run, zone, etc on all the plays that he isn't rushing the passer, because I know he can rush the passer.

Miller and DJ share nothing in common.

I mean, unless you thought DJ's primary role on this team is to rush the quarterback, in which case you are stupid.

If Miller can get to 10 sacks but more imporantly generate about 3-5 forced fumbles I would be esactic

Miller will be a good one so long as he doesn't start hanging out with the idiot partiers on the team, spending too much time in clubs and sniffing after the tramp camp-followers. Blueflame oughtta hook him up with some nice girls and get him married quick.

245 is definitely not big for SOLB, "not even remotely." Not small either I suppose, but he looks kinda slim, and as a rookie he's bound to lose poundage, we'll see.

Want to argue more ... we can crunch the SOLB weight numbers roster-by-roster...?

Yes, methinks 12 is pretty realistic. Remember, teams MUST double Elvis, bad idea not do. Can't really double two guys, especially when one is a LB with a supersonic first step. If you double both, there's fewer receivers in patterns.

Show me, ohhhh, say... 5 4-3 SOLBs that are bigger than Von Miller.

Since clearly you think he's small for his position, this should be simple.

I'll wait right here.

Actually, Broncos official site lists him at 237, very VERY small for a strongside backer, he might even be the lightest SOLB in the league!

Accepting your gracious apology in advance, Reverend ... Peace be With You.

At last .... my love has come along!

LOOK AT THAT GUY! A world class athlete, born to sack ... yet he looks like half-an-Urkel!

My love for Von Miller make's Khan's love for Kuper seem like the white hot hatred of a thousand suns.

I love Von Miller so much, I would ... I would ... I dunno, do his laundry.

And if that's not love, I don't know what love is.

I'm antsy waiting on the Denver game, so i did it for you:

Lions - Durant: 240 lbs
TB - Hayes: 226 lbs
Saints - Shanle: 245 lbs
Panthers - Anderson: 235 lbs
Falcons - Nicholas: 236 lbs
Vikings - Henderson: 244 lbs
Bears - Roach: 236 lbs
Rams - Leber: 245 lbs
Seahawks - Curry: 255 lbs
Eagles - Fokou: 236 lbs
Giants - Boley: 230 lbs
Browns - Gocong: 263 lbs
Raiders - Groves: 265 lbs
Titans - Ayers: 254 lbs
Jags - Smith: 249 lbs

Bengals - Lawson: 240 lbs

Broncos - Miller: 245 lbs

So... out of 16 4-3 teams that aren't us, 5 are bigger than Miller.

Which puts him in the top 1/3rd of 4-3 Sams as far as size is concerned.

1. He still wouldn't be remotely the smallest SOLB in the league, genius.

2. He weighed 246 at the combine. So yeah.

Who do you trust ... those geeks with clipboards or the OFFICIAL DENVER BRONCOS numbers? Besides, I only see two guys on that list more than a pound or two lighter than Von.

Please Rev, don't disrespect the official Broncos numbers, it's unbecoming. I'm actually embarrassed for you.

Just be gracious, I beg you ... bow down like a man.
