Obama administration style.
BEIJING (AP) -- A wild brawl broke out between Georgetown and a Chinese men's basketball team Thursday night, putting an immediate end to a supposed goodwill game that coincided with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's visit to the country. The benches cleared and fights erupted all over the court with about 9 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The rest of the exhibition between Georgetown and the Bayi Rockets was called off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn7JE...eature=related Last edited by epicSocialism4tw; 08-19-2011 at 04:45 PM.. |

Epic, you would be taken more seriously if you stop putting everything of (fill in the blank) vs Obama.

apparently China has a history of starting fights and has been fined 10's of thousands of dollars for fighting at basketball games.

what in the holy **** of hell does this have to do with obama. it is people like you that necessitated that john thompson III issue a press release after the game assuring the world that georgetown didn't hate all chinese people and that the nukes would not, in fact, be falling in the wake of this idiocy.

And now for the rest of the story, courtesy of the AP article linked in the OP:
"The melee was the latest instance of on-court fighting by China, whose players have been fined tens of thousands of dollars by the world and Asian federations for scrapping with opponents." Now, whose diplomacy was in question again? |

read up on it a bit more, game was tied 64 - 64 when this happened, and chinese refs were very clearly favoring the home team with calls. guess the tension was mounting and very thick as the game went on. there is a better view:
