Denver Post.... Raiders blast Broncos 59-14; fans express their displeasure

Broncos were shamefully annihilated by the Oakland Raiders, 59-14, before a disgusted sellout-turned-very-small-crowd at Invesco Field at Mile High. "The whole Broncos organization, country, team, fans, players, coaches, owners, from top to bottom, that was an embarrassing performance." The massacre at Invesco will live on for a while.

This was one of those games in which it looked like the Broncos had eight players on defense. The Raiders had 169 yards rushing by halftime, and tailback Darren McFadden had four touchdowns on 196 yards rushing and receiving with more than five minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Raiders needed only three plays before McFadden scored the first of his four touchdowns.

Actually Mathews may be the one thing avg about it.

Casey Matthews looks like Philly’s starting middle linebacker

I think he's talking about the Patriots running back that McD picked up for a 4th rounder last year. I refuse to use his name.

As a GM, McDaniels was probably the worst we've seen. I would love to strap him to a chair and make him explain some of the choices he did. This, Lonnie Paxton in lieu of Leach and the Alphonso Smith deals are the three things I would grill him on.

That sucks for the Lions....I hope they don't have the injury bug all year.

They need a big back to compliment Jahvid Best.

Something is compelling me to point out that we got a 6th rounder back with LoMo. I think it's my knowitall-ism. So McD didn't "give away a 4th". He traded a 4th for a 6th

Running back Ricky Williams has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, a source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Monday.

Williams signed a two-year deal worth $2.5 million with some escalators that could make the contract worth $4 million total. In Baltimore he will back up starting running back Ray Rice.

Solid move for the Ravens....Ricky has some gas left in the tank.

He ran for 673 yards and averaged 4.2 yards per carry last year and should be able to fill a similar role in Baltimore.

Ricky only needs 435 yards for 10,000 career rushing yards.

I'm glad to see Ricky Williams still in the league.

I've always enjoyed watching him tote the rock.

nice pick up by the ratbirds... so they dump McGahee and pick up Williams. I'm not sure if this is a good sign for our front office....

Even for those around you, though? That's pretty awesome if someone gets stoned and its not that everything seems slower, but everyone actually is slower.

The Lions could really use Ricky Williams now that Mikel LeShoure is out for the year.

Poor timing....last week there were several free agent running backs out there that would have been a nice fit for them.
