Chargers just re-signed Malcolm Floyd.
Potent offense with Vincent Jackson, Gates, Floyd, and Patrick Crayton catching passes from Rivers. Plus Ryan Mathews out of the backfield. If Bob Sanders can actually play a full season...look out...althought with change of DC we'll see if that helps or hurts... |

I disagree. If the NFL can't work in a supplemental draft in a time frame that works for them then to bad. He put himself in this situation. As for the NFL, it is an unusual year with the lock out and I understand them not bending over backwards to accommodate Pryor.

if there is no supp draft, then he should be classified as an undrafted free agent... he is an adult no longer in college that will be wanted by a few nfl teams... he should be allowed to find work with one, and if he isn't he should pursue litigation... |

But the flurry of FA's happened in that window that got them the 2 SBs. At least, that is what I remember. |

People would be a lot less concerned with declaring for the draft in time if they knew they could just declare when they felt like it for the supplemental draft. You'd also have teams who could use a future pick for a player that'd help you right away so it could even be appealing for some people to go that route as they might get drafted slightly higher than they otherwise would. |

Just saw on PFT that the Pats signed Andre Carter now.
I wonder if they aren't just trying to get another trophy before Brady's time comes. Why else get so many older vets when they always seem to have as many draft picks as they'd like to select players. |

Denver Post.... Raiders blast Broncos 59-14; fans express their displeasure
Broncos were shamefully annihilated by the Oakland Raiders, 59-14, before a disgusted sellout-turned-very-small-crowd at Invesco Field at Mile High. "The whole Broncos organization, country, team, fans, players, coaches, owners, from top to bottom, that was an embarrassing performance." The massacre at Invesco will live on for a while. This was one of those games in which it looked like the Broncos had eight players on defense. The Raiders had 169 yards rushing by halftime, and tailback Darren McFadden had four touchdowns on 196 yards rushing and receiving with more than five minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Raiders needed only three plays before McFadden scored the first of his four touchdowns. |
