Sorry I didn't answer. Left my phone on the kitchen counter this morning. Pretty much, the day is heading into ultimate suckage. I have a pipe crew on site and my bolt supplier decided to send out flange packs without nuts. It's tough to fasten 36" diameter flanged piping without nuts.

Just a great day.

Then to add insult to injury my house deal fell through.

**** it!

Sorry to hear about the house deal. If he wants to sell, he will come around! Hope to see you again in September!

The guy couldn't see the trees through the forest. He thought he had no issues with the house.

Maintenance and recognizing potential costly issues seems to be a problem for most homeowners. Also many who are selling don't seem to understand that it is a buyers market until this ****ty economy turns!

oh well, we'll start a new house hunt when we get back from Hawaii.

Deep sea fishing= safe - This is really cool!
Diving,Snorkling and swimming in the ocean= quasi safe/ possible shark food - Sharks don't like human meat they usually spit it out!
Cruising the island on a Hog= safe (might geet wet on the Hilo side) This would be a blast.
One whole week with the in-laws! YIKES! (A week flies by quickly)

Too bad that once they spit it out, those parts are not in salvagable condition. I do undrstand that along the east coast of the big island the little critters feed at dawn and dusk (the time I love to go out in the ocean.

Oh well, I yer time comes, yer time comes!

Nikki wanted to do an all night shark fishing excursion but the best charter I could find to date was $1800 smackaroos. YIKES. Guess that isn't happening.
I booked a 3/4 day private deep sea charter on a 40 footer for $700. That's not to bad, and most likely it will only be Nikki, my nephew (6YO) and myself.

I'd like to go for a triple header (Marlin-Striped, blue and Black), but with the kids on board I may just opt to go for Ono and Mahi and throw them on the grill when we return to the dock.

For good luck I chose the boat which has the same name as my Black Lab (Mojo)

I want to make it to HI. I want to see the black/red/green sand beaches.

Being white though, i'm afraid the locals will eat me and turn me into drugs.

Just get a spray tan and a big belly, and you'll blend in with the home crowd.

I'll protect you, Josh... I speak the language. You will, however, have to eat spam to blend in.

I'd take any white sandy beach right now. I was just remembering a very special trip to Kauai... would love to relive that time.
