I think Denver should try to sign him. No matter what the new CBA brings, Aso will be an FA.
I don't know what the number will be he signs for, but it's at least worth a try. |

If we did this, it would be nothing short of an "OMG D LINE!" meltdown here

Why would a highly regarded FA sign with a 4-12 team

Broncos probably can't entice Aso to come to Denver. It would be a slam dunk if he did though. It's never a bad idea to go after any great player IMO. I think though Broncos will go after DT and RB in FA with the bigger money. Not sure they will want to give Aso the Revis deal which is what it will take.
Bailey/ASO with 2 young safetys would be interesting though. What do 2 safety's do with no reason to help outside? |

I heard Houston wants to look at him. Get that stud on defense to maybe get them over the hump. They have plenty of studs on offense.

If we could get him it'd be great (we won't), but D-line investment is of course essential.

DLIne and look at a running back in free agency. We cannot afford for Moreno to go down again. If Tebow is the guy and is having trouble completing passes, we need to make sure our running game is not detrimental to our offensive game.

I think Denver will be knocking on Charles Johnson's door at midnight of FA.
24 year old with 11.5 sacks. You can never have enough pass rushers. Find the DTs in the draft or bargain shop for those guys. Don't overpay for a Mebane or Cofield. |

The Broncos need to spend the bulk of their free agent money on the DL than a CB. Another CB would be great, but not at the expense of signing a DL or 2.

I would be all for Aso as well. I think if we could land a Landri, resign Thomas and take a chance on Tommie Harris, Daniel Muir, Paul Soliai and Clifton Ryan that would give us a OK DT rotation. Nothing too sexy but a solid start to rebuilding. |

I would add Remi Ayodele and Anthony Hargrove cheap DT's with ties to the new staff that might be brought in to compete.

I don't disagree about us as a franchise like you said, above. Your talking about a hot FA that played on a struggling team he'll want an elite team or up and coming team that isn't us right now. We have other areas we need to address first.

I don't know why there is such a high price on placed on CB's around here.
You don't win SB's with one or 2 studs who are best at their positions, you win it with a complete team. I say be patient in FA and get guys who can add depth and contribute rather than go ALL IN with one guy. We had a great draft, now we need to find some FA's to fill in the holes and hope that in a couple years we are back at the top. |

Eagles made it clear that a shutdown corner was at the top of their priority list and they would do whatever is needed to sign a All-Pro corner.

Best case scenario would be to sign a defensive tackle when free agency opens up. Worst case scenario is not signing any DTs.
