wow, Robbie looks older but he can still rock! I loved the "Last Waltz" The Band was one of my all time favorites! I have been rocking to Delbert McClinton lately since I am going to see him in Ft. Smith in a week!

Robbie's new CD "How to Become Clairvoyant" is pretty cool. Features Eric Clapton on guitar (and as co-writer) on several tracks.

A classic from Cracker, comprised of former members of Camper Van Beethoven (don't tell some hipsters, but Cracker was the better band):

I used to think so too....till I saw them live a couple of years ago. They were disappointing to say the least. Very lethargic. The lowpoint was when they did the most sluggish cover of "Shake Some Action" that I've ever been witness to. Perhaps it was an off night or something, but it really blew my image of them. At least when I saw CVB back in the late 80's, they were still trying at that point, these guys were clearly just going thru the motions and it was a huge bummer.

That's too bad. I have never got the chance to see them live, just youtube clips. Still much prefer their studio work over that of CVB. Some CVB stuff just seems downright silly in retrospect.
