I will almost always listen to someone's point though frankly I disagree with this stance. Yes, governments both now and in the past have used fear as a controlling mechanism. However, Al Qaeda is a real threat to people and ignoring them is just as dangerous as ignoring the abuse of power sometimes exhibited by all governments. I do believe this organization exists as a hate organization destroying people who do not fall in line with their beliefs. I think they will use any excuse to hate and destroy (if it isn't Palestine they'd find something else to hate us for).

And as far as Rev's original post, I found the part of the statement where they called us dishonorable for killing not on a battlefield particularly hypocritical on their parts given the fact that they flew airplanes into building that were people going about their workday, not soldiers on a field of battle. Kind of made me want to just go in and bomb them.

Champ I need to introduce you to my friend who spent years in the special forces fighting AlQaeda. He worked in high level positions at the pentagon also. Known him for 20 years. I guess he isn't real then according to you.

Again, I appreciate your whole attitude towards talking about his, as you can see most people just wave their flag and don't question anything. I never will force my opinion on other, nor will i do that here, but I just wanted to show the other side. And as for your second statement, I agree with that. I don't think it was cowardly, or any of that, and I'm not against the fact that Osama is dead, i just don't like that we are celebrating someones death. and to put it into football terms, i think it was ridiculous that Rashard Mendenhall got dropped form all his sponsors. I applaud him for making these comments.

I think he's real, but i think his missions may not of been all about what his superiors were telling him. I have no conflict with the soldiers, i think they are needed, and that they are great people, but I think it's sad we waste lives when its not needed.
