A mall is private space. No shoes, no shirt, droopy pants - no service. Adios.

Obviously an upscale mall and the dress of he and his entourage was inappropriate. More telling, though, is his reaction. I agree with Drunk Monkey - tick, tick, tick with this kid.

Heard Sal Paolantonio on the Phila ESPN Radio affiliate yesterday afternoon. He speculated that Seattle was willing to trade their 1st round pick (the 26th I think?) to the Eagles for Kevin Kolb. But it's very possible that they won't be able to make a deal before the draft, similar to Denver's situation with Orton.

![]() Texas police have issued felony warrants for the arrests of Bucs CB Aqib Talib and his mother, Okolo Talib. Talib could face 2 to 20 years in prison after he turns himself in for the second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A grand jury will hear the case in 4-6 weeks, though it could be months before it goes to trial. The Bucs cannot release players during the lockout. The more pressing issue for Talib is the very real prospect of prison time. Source: St. Petersburg Times Mar 29, 4:38 PM |

![]() Jets QB Erik Ainge, currently on the reserved/non-football illness list, recently disclosed that he was a "really bad drug addict," escalating from marijuana to prescription meds, alcohol, cocaine and even heroin. "I would've made Charlie Sheen look like Miss Daisy," said Ainge. His drug abuse began with a bong hit at age 12. Ainge, who has also been diagnosed as bipolar, disappeared for a month in the spring of 2009 to attend a detox center. He ended up sitting out the 2010 season because he went on a "two-week bender" before training camp. Realizing he had hit rock bottom, Ainge checked himself into a rehab clinic last July and has been clean since. Ainge concedes that his football future remains "uncertain." We wouldn't bank on seeing him in a Jets uniform ever again. Source: ESPN New York Mar 29, 1:32 PM |

Former Chiefs RB Larry Johnson is currently being sued in a Kansas City court for allegedly spitting on a woman in a bar in 2008.
The suit isn't new, but attorney Jack T. Bangert (for real) is arguing Johnson has become so hated in Kansas City that he can't get a fair jury. "If we can’t get a change of venue ... it is insurmountable," Bangert said. "We want to go anywhere but here." L.J. is hated in K.C. because his play fell to pieces immediately after Carl Peterson signed him to a monster contract, and his disturbing treatment of women was well documented by the media. Chad Pennington tears ACL playing basketball
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ng-basketball/ Chad Pennington’s run of awful luck continues. He’s been rehabbing his surgically-repaired shoulder with hopes of making another NFL comeback. That plan will be put on hold after he tore his ACL playing pickup basketball, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. Pennington will undergo surgery on April 7. It’s hard to imagine him coming back from this latest injury in addition to the shoulder issues, but we’ve counted him out too quickly before. SI’s Peter King believed Pennington may have wound up finding a starting job in 2011 because he could step in to a new system without much practice and be ready to go. Unfortunately, that won’t happen now. |

Broncos VP of Player Personnel John Elway is hoping to get Demaryius Thomas (Achilles surgery) back "halfway" through next season.
The initial response was more optimistic, even if it was never realistic. Elway's statement is confirmation that the Broncos are planning to have Thomas start the season on the PUP list. They can't count on a major contribution until around Thanksgiving. Even then, it's going to be a challenge to keep Thomas healthy and effective. Source: ESPN.com Mar 31, 6:09 PM |

According to ESPN's John Clayton, the players offered to return to the bargaining table for a week of talks on March 28 only to be turned down by the owners.
The NFL refuses to negotiate unless the trade association recertifies as a union. The owners have publicly pushed for a resumption of talks, but their lack of follow-up suggests a newborn confidence after Judge Nelson replaced the union-friendly Judge Doty for the April 6 injunction hearing. If Nelson fails to grant the injunction, the leverage swings heavily to the owners' side. Source: ESPN.com Apr 3, 8:39 PM Glad to see they're moving forward... |

![]() Raiders WR Louis Murphy was reportedly arrested Sunday morning for possession of Viagra without a valid prescription, failure to obey an officer, and non-violent resisting arrest. All three charges are misdemeanors. Murphy was pulled over for a loud stereo, first ignoring the officer then refusing to show ID or put his hands behind his back. It was until after Murphy consented to a vehicle search that officers found 11 Viagra pills in a bottle with the label torn off because the receiver didn't want his girlfriend to know his performance was artificially enhanced. Murphy was also arrested back in 2006 for marijuana possession. Source: Gainesville Sun Apr 3, 4:48 PM |

![]() Free agent Laurence Phoney Maroney has reportedly been charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession for his arrest back in January. Maroney appeared to have escaped charges for the incident in St. Louis when he was found with marijuana and a handgun at a traffic stop. He had a permit for the gun, but there's no doctor's note for the pot. His game tape will be a bigger free-agent millstone than this misdemeanor charge. Source: TMZ.com Mar 31, 7:57 PM |
