Lois Lane Cast...



Oscar nominee Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in the Superman reboot.

The film's director, Zack Snyder, revealed to the Los Angeles Times that Adams received the news Sunday. After meeting with Adams, it was clear to the filmmaker that the Enchanted and The Fighter actress was "perfect" for the role of the dogged Daily Planet reporter and Man of Steel's love interest.

"It goes back to what I've said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What's important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance]," said Snyder.

Adams joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Viggo Mortensen is said to be circling the role of General Zod.

Megan Fox use to be my favorite, but she had to go and get all that plastic on her, then she had to run her mouth off instead of being greatful for a role of a life time.

Malin Akerman is very overrated in terms of looks. she was horribly miscast in Watchmen.

but with Amy Adams, this is ****ty casting, it is like Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man.

can we get 1 movie version of Lois Lane that is actually hot?

Now as for this casting choice, I like her as an actress, I think she's funny and a pretty decent actress, but I would not have cast her as Lois, but not due to a hotness factor, she doesn't really convey I think the feisty intelligence I expect from Lois, but maybe she gave a really good audition.

I actually like the Lois on Smallville, Erica Durance, (http://www.best.celebity-foto.com/wp...durance-31.jpg) but I suspect given her current association they would not hire her. She would meet most guy's hotness criteria and she's funny and cool in the part. However, having said that, my guess is they want a movie star actress.

I believe Zooey as posted above is a good choice. She's pretty, she conveys intelligence and spunk, she'd have been a great choice. I like Kirsten Bell for the same reason and I suppose she could dye her hair brown which I suspect is what Amy Adams will do. I also like Rachel McAdams.



As for Meghan Dumbass. she's a mouthy, faux tanned creepy looking, poor actress. I've seen her in stuff outside of Transformers and that girl is a terrible actress. I realize you guys have a hot factor to consider, but she isn't even that attractive, that fake tan she's got going on is kind of creepy actually. There are hotter girls who can act just as poorly.

As for the movie, it sounds like the rest of the cast is also very interesting. But for me of course, it's all about my Superman, I am not sure Iwill even notice there are other people in the movie.

2. Meghan "hammer thumbs" Fox...I think she is indicitive of the factory that is hollywood. They want specific body types. Same goes for the male actors. You could honestly switch out some of these actors and it would be the same exact part. Its very rare to see someone you can expect to be acting in 30 years.
