Thanks for these. Casey over Paea, no.

I'd put Watt over Smith as well.

I've come to trust Mayock (one more year for his prediction about Ayers to come true), but I don't want to treat his rankings like the Holy Grail. We all have to concede that he's watched more film and knows more than most/all of us, but sometimes I think these guys get in their own heads and lose the forest for the trees.

That said, if we take a guy like Casey at DT while Paea is still on the board, I'll feel a little better about it having seen Mayock's rankings.

Well you have to figure in the coaching with Ayers 3 yr prediction and do you think he was given the best coaching the last 2?

No, and I agree. It is entirely likely that if Ayers had gone somewhere like NY or NE or PIT that he'd be an all-pro (or, at least, in the conversation about best defender in his draft class). I'm a patient fan, and not ready to give up on Ayers.

More to the point, I've come to trust Mayock more than Kiper or McShay.

At least someone isnt sleeping on ahmad black...imo will be the best safety from this class without a doubt...ya hes a litle undersized, but he is ALWAYS around the ball and making plays not to mention, is a leader in the secondary

i like black as a cover two safety ... a total FS. i like Mcbath in that position however he needs to stay healthy. I think SS is a bigger priority.

DeMarco Murray not in the Top 5 RB's? Did he have a bad season or injury?
