Can't figure this out, so I figured I'd ask some Maners for help. Basically I'm trying to get my tv to display HD. Here are the details:
When I moved into the house I'm renting, my landlord left a flat screen trutech TV that (I believe) has the capability to display 1080p. Its not a name brand tv, but it's ok (definitely all I can afford): Here is the manual: http://www.1800customersupport.com/p...VM_TruTech.pdf Currently, I have a digital DTV converter hooked up to old rabbit ears, and then to the TV. So, I am receiving the over the air digital signals, converting them to analog and then displaying a Low D broadcast on my TV which (i think) is HD capable. (I'm watching MNF right now in Low Def right now, it sucks.) So what I hope to do is buy this HD antenna (http://www.amazon.com/RCA-ANT1650-Di...0400697&sr=8-1), plug it into my TV, and watch HD football over the air. Will it work? (I'm concerned the Trutech TV might not have an "internal tuner" or something else like that that I'm missing. Hope an expert here can help me out. Thx. |
