Really, take a couple minutes and listen to this ... it's not like his studio recordings, which tend toward dark and plodding. This one's a wild ride, especially toward the end, drummer pushes the pace but he hangs on. A full speed runaway train.

David Gilmour , any solo is my fav , but for the sake of adding something different ...
Prince is a killer lead player... This song ok no matter who does it , but Prince kills that end solo. And him at the super bowl a few years ago could be the the best half time performance i ever seen and man can he solo. and keep in mind Prince is way outa my box , and I hate a lot of stuff he does , but I can't deny talent when i see it and boy can he play...
