Got VIP status for the show in Pittsburgh this Oct. Really geeked up for it as I've been wanting to see them for a very long time.

For those 'not so fresh' days...

Nah, just good straight ahead, guitar driven rock with a decent vocal.

http://www.invisibleoranges.com/2010...metal-singers/

A critical review of heavy metal singers by a classicist.

This is truly very good stuff.

Props. Nice find and very cool article. Of those five, Dio's my favorite but Halford seems to have the most chops/biggest bag of vocal tricks.

Let's play 'one of these singers is not like the other ones...'

Paging Mr. Osbourne....

Yes. Regarding Ozzie.... 'how long did his career last..' lol.

The discussion below Ms. Friedlander's remarks is as interesting as the comments themselves. Worth ten more minutes if you have the time. Makes me cringe at my own internet 'contributions'.

I'm incredibly jealous.

They came to Minneapolis a while ago and I missed out. One of my bucket list item's is seeing them before I pass on.

They need to come out this way more.

If I can get into school over there, I'd be ragin' at their shows all the time. Well, not ragin'. . . but having fun.
