BTW, the biggest excuse for Jason Campbell was always that he changed O-coordinator 6 times in the last 6 season. Well, guess what?, this year he just got a new O-coordinator (probably a less qualified one) and I'll bet anyone he will have a new one next year (if not midway through this season)
The Raiders are going to be a very improved team. The real question mark is in fact how much Jason Campbell can help them. Their defense will keep them in games and with Bush and McFadden, they will be able to run the ball. If Campbell puts up respectable #s, say 3000 yards, 20 TDs, and 12 INTs, they will be on the bubble for a playoff spot. I hate saying it, but they are clearly the most improved playoff team right now.

Oh, and if I'm the Broncos right about now I'm calling the Giants to see what it might take to get Osi. We need a pass rush if we are going to compete in the West and Osi may be available for the right price. I don't think we have the players to bargain with, but a draft pick (I'm thinking as high as a 3rd) might do the trick.

Anybody think of anyone else that may be able to help that could be available through a trade?

I always look at prior trade partners first. We have recently traded with the Dolphins, Patriots, and we even traded draft picks with the Ravens and Steelers. All should have some hand-me-down 3-4 OLB's.

Cleveland Browns QB Colt McCoy could need a strong showing in the team's last two preseason games in order to secure a roster spot, according to Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

McCoy is best QB in the draft
Coud have had him for free
Instead McBeevis trades away Hillis for Tebow and a bag of chips.
Quinn is half child, half dumb as shark
Browns are incompetent, would have been a steal
In a week division, we go 14-2 fby luck.

You got that right. Against Sandy Eggo Culter got pulled cuz SD was "blitzing too much." But Oakland sacked him with a 3 man rush.... that Chicago O-line is a big reason for this:

NFL Sack leader K. Wimbley, Oakland Raiders, Sacks: 4

1 Kamerion Wimbley OAK...4
2 Geno Atkins CIN................ 3.5
3 Antwan ApplewhiteSD......... 3
4 Lamarr Houston OAK........ 2

Wimbley was all over the place in that game.

Cutler had constant pressure most of the time.

They were talking about getting Cutler some help with the WR.

Should of paid more attention to the o-line instead, with no time it doesn't matter who the WR's are.

Looks like that's the biggest weakness this year for Oakland, the o-line or from what I've seen at least.

The starting center got hurt in that game, didn't look to serious tho.

And Campbell is a lot better than Russell, good speed on the outside for sure, just need time together and gel.

Defense looks pretty good, our two meetings should be good games this year.

O-line still shaky... but did you notice Jared Veldheer at LT with the 1st team? That kid did OK against Julius Peppers... got burned once for a strip-sack but mostly held his own. We may have got lucky there. Bruce Campbell was at RG with the 2nd team... didn't do as well as Veldheer. Strong as a bull but possibly bit light in the cranium...

Ok that was funny.

Keep your head up Raider fan, things are starting to turn around now, though. IMO, Oakland is possibly an 8-8 team this year. BTW, I think Louis Murphy will be a good player.

He did look good vs Peppers, maybe they found a gem who knows.

And that Campbell does look strong just pure power at RG.

Looks like the Chiefs wiffed on both Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson, one of them is gonna find the bench soon.

The Chiefs are such morons for going to a 3-4.

The Minnesota Vikings acquired Miami Dolphins wide receiver Greg Camarillo in a trade for cornerback Benny Sapp, multiple sources confirmed Wednesday.

Camarillo was acquired to fill the receiving void created by Sidney Rice's hip surgery that will sideline him until midseason and the migraine problem affecting Percy Harvin.

Wow! You mean the Chefs blew two top ten picks in a row? Gee, that's a shame.

There's a blast from the past. I'll never forget that awful game we played against Miami in 2008 where Camarillo just absolutely lit us up for 11 catches and 111 yds. I never heard of him before that day.

Scott Pioli drafted kind of crappy for NE during his tenure there. Odd that after he leaves the Pats have two solid drafts in a row and the Chiefs blow their top 3 pick. This doesn't bode well for their class this year.

I agree that Pioli's tenure in NE was bad as drafts go. Their drafts really weren't that great over the years. They excelled in picking up free agents on the cheap, shore up their weak spots and get them to overachieve, but that's more on Belichick's eye and his coaching.

Also, wasn't Dorsey a Herm pick? Dorsey in particular seems to be getting a raw deal because he's the square peg being forced into a round hole.

I think he could be good in the right scheme. Probably a year or two more floundering in KC's 3-4, they'll trade him for peanuts to a new team and for his sake, he'll live up to his potential.

Welker and Camarillo. Two of Marty's worst cuts.

I was really pissed when Marty cut Welker. But he wanted to go with Tim Dwight.

To be honest though, I'm surprised Camarillo has had as much success as he has. He did pretty well in pre-season games here but it was against 3rd stringers so it was hard to gauge. It's good to see him do well though. AJ finds the best UDFAs out there.

Tyson Jackson should be benched, he has been nothing short of abysmal so far, and there are questions about his work ethic, but I dont know who would replace him

Dorsey has improved since his rookie year, but as of now he isnt anything special

I dont see them challenging for a playoff spot anytime soon if they dont get a legit qb in there tho

It is always fun to watch KFC fail. Too bad they still beat us at least once a year. Maybe that changes this year.

What did they get for Jared Allen again?

I think Cassel is Ok, much better than the Winless Wonder. They have a run threat and if they get a couple WR's to step up their O is ok, their D is bad though.

They got Albert and two third round picks (Brad Cottam and DeJuan Morgan?).

Wow, what a lopsided trade.

I just imagine them sticking with the 4-3 with Herm and having Allen and Hali at DE and Dorsey and Jackson at DT. I think that could be a scary d-line.
