Well I am pretty sure we are drafting next week as its getting close to the season so you should probably send a PM to myself and Broncoman13 stating what works best for you.

I am working with Alex tomorrow to figure out the best scoring system and after that we should be a lock to go!

1pt per 2 receptions, 1pt per 30 passing yards, all TD's 6 (Balances out drew brees and rodgers a little since they're always posting 300+yd games)

I can do DAY or NIGHT on Sunday. Nothing after 2pm PST(if day) or Before 530PST (if night)

I cant overlap, so I'd be able to trade one for the other.

I like these rules. I also like zero negative points for defense or missed FG over 50 yards..

Return yards- do we go by defense gets the return yards or specific player? I vote defense and maybe 1 pt per 20 or so...Usually you dont get too many return yards..

DRAFT- I can not do sunday unless it is late late late, like 8:30 at the earliest. Monday is good after 5pm mtn time. Pretty much I am good anytime except sunday. Have my big money league draft then, cant miss that one.

I just registered my team- went with same name as last year since I see some familiar faces....

How does the waiver wire work? Is it a free for all, or go by record last place get first pick? Roster positions?

I don't think we will be changing the scoring for QBs all that much. There is draft stategy involved and if you even out the guys you mentioned there is no point in selecting them early.

What I will do to help offset all of the RB by commitee issues is put some extra scoring potential in for RBs. Points per reception, 50, 100, 150 yard bonuses, etc.

Med's prolly banging some tuna...

I haven't played since I took Buckhalter as my #2 back.

I'll vouch for Med as long as he gives me a pass down to Sandals and I get the leftovers...

I'd rather pick up Westbrook or LT in the 10th..

Denver is going to dink and dunk.

Monday night works fine after 5:30pm PST (if it's a must, I could probably arrange for earlier...just chasing a VERY MOBILE 10 month old around the house). Sunday evening not super duper late works for me too. I can be flexible to work around others work schedules if need be.

I'm ready to register and transfer the money, But I really need to know when the draft is schedulled...
I read that some have a problem with Sunday night (+the Broncos game is Sunday at 8:00pm est) But I'm not available on Mondy (Till after 10:45pm est)
Next weekend might be better for most (?) but I feel a date must be set...

I am waiting to get in touch with Apa to discuss, but I do agree that Sunday Night is a no go. Everyone will be distracted, if they can even make it to a computer to draft. I think the Monday evening draft is good. The following weekend is also a good option. Perhaps we would be better off drafting Sunday and Monday of the following week? That would give us a little more time to collect league fees and ensure we have the full set of owners. We have to have at least 20 at this point (There are 12 signed up right now and I'm pretty sure Philly, CBF1 and Med will sign up in the next day or two). So 15 right now. Too big for a single league and too small for a two conference league.

So let me discuss with Nick and we'll see what dates are the best. I wonder what everyone's availability is like during the weekdays (evening)?

I think next weekend will be better. In that there won't be a game it will allow people to plan a little more and it will be after the third week where starters play the most and if there is some freak injury to a good player someone doesn't get screwed coming out of the gate.

Just my opinion!

You two need to "sit" together and just set a date and time.
Next weekend will 'most likely' work for me,depends on exact day and time, but at least I'll know for sure if I'm in or out. IMO, it will speed the process...

Thanks for the advice, we will make sure we "sit" together.....

This is the first I heard of a change in date but it makes sense with the game on Sunday. I am playing phone tag with Bman right now but we will get it figured out sooner rather than later.

Yeah, we have too many people that will miss Sunday due to the game. Plus it makes sense to wait until we have a full set of committments to schedule the draft.

You want to "sit" at my place or yours?

I've actually played in a 16 team league for the last few years...Separates the men from the boys!

Hopefully we get 24 though b/c I like 12 teams over 10.

I can do mid-week evening drafts after 6pm PST with a little notice but would prefer Sunday or Monday.

Alright, I think Nick and I have agreed to hold the drafts on Sunday Sept 5th and Monday Sept 6th. The drafts will be held at 6:30 MST. I know 5:30 is a little early for the west coast folks and 8:30 is borderline for the east coast folks, but that is really the best time to accomodate both regions.

We are still awaiting several people to sign up. Right now we have 13 signed up to the League safe vault (5 payments still not received, one pending).

Still waiting to hear from several that have yet to respond to their invites.

There is still room available if anybody else wants to join in!

We are looking to have two conferences of 10 to 12 in each conference. The two conference winners will play for an authentic jersey (of their choice). There will be tons of other prizes as well. Usually we do $10 every week to the high point scorer. Buy in is $45 plus a small handling fee. Would love to have you again!
