That's all great stuff Buff, but when it comes to the BOC, I still think "Then Came The Last Days Of May" is probably the best thing they ever done. I'd post the clip, but it's already in the thread and I don't want to post the same vids over and over again like some do here.
I've been pounding the self-titled debut and Tyranny a lot the last couple of weeks Last edited by Hogan11; 08-12-2010 at 02:09 PM.. |

Hi-yoooo! Played that in every band I've ever been in.
That and Seger's Old Time Rock & Roll were the #1 sure-fire fill the dance floor songs. |

Sifting thru old vinyl and stumbled on this. One of those tunes I could NOT play enough when it came out. Being a Queen fan, this was right on par with them.

I actually heard this on the classic rock station today and nearly drove off the road myself.

So, we're back in the studio now.
This is my first recording in like 5 years, and we were eager to just get something done so lay off some of the idiosyncrasies. I think we're sound good for having literally like 15 minutes of practice together... it's just me (drums) and vince (bass) ... but I'll also record percussion, and we have violin, piano and a guy who plays just about everything... but I was just eager to get this up: http://www.uploadmusic.org/MUSIC/4123961281759512.mp3 Last edited by Swedish Extrovert; 08-13-2010 at 09:22 PM.. |

Never cared for Ten Years After, but that's probably my own character flaw. I always caught on to Alvin Lee's stuff, and could play it play it fairly quickly. I guess I figure anybody I can play like must not be all that great ![]() Same thing with Gary Richrath. Not that I can play what he plays, more that I don't want to. |

Ahhh, I shouldn't dis Richrath. So what if he plays the same solo on every song? REO definitely did some rockin ... this is an early gem. |
