Default JJ Cale

Just a little break from the Bronco stuff, I'm trying to diversify.

Eric Clapton rode on JJ Cale's back by covering JJ Cale's 'After Midnight' and 'Cocaine'.

Also, JJ Cale wrote 'Call Me The Breeze' that was covered by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

JJ Cale's original 'After Midnight' is much superior to Clapton's.

Just thought I'd throw this out since JJ is a forgotten influence.

Best American Song writter of the last 50 years IMO. That commercialized stuff isn't even his best either.

Ya, well, spread the word. It's a shame JJ Cale doesn't get the credit he deserves for his influence.

JJ Cale is one of those guys (like say, John Prine) that's hugely influential but flies under the radar. I've lost track of him over the years, but the compilation Anyway The Wind Blows does just fine for me. I'd recommend it anyways.
