Several inches of rain already in Columbia... this could be a mud bowl.

I am jacked. I just about head bunted a coworker, and probably should leave work early to prepare for tonight's festivities. This is what fandom is all about.

Revised prediction because of the weather: NU 27 MU 14

Tonight needs to hurry up. I am decked out in Husker gear and ready for the game to start. I am loving the team this year and all the young players that have stepped up. I think we win this by 10+. I don't think the division will be to hard to win this year.

Not giving up yet, but we look lost on offense. We really need to get the run game going, because Lee has not looked sharp at all. Complete disaster on special teams. We were lucky to only be down 2 for so long, but that last drive was a killer. Props to Pinkle for the ballsy call.

So nice to get back in the W column against Misery. Sure, I would have liked to see us play better early, but it was almost more fun to rip their hearts out like this AND still win by a large margin.

Great game. I got a little worried for a minute. I love the defenses that both the Huskers and Broncos now have. Both teams had some pretty pathetic defenses for a long time and both have become very good. Now the Broncos just need to find a way to get Suh. Hopefully the Bears really start sucking soon.

So close. Bet you could never have predicted how we would get to that final score.

Mizzou......you gave up 27 4thQ points. Congrats.

The "horse collar" call was BS on Suh.

Yeah, he was hurt. He was limping around most of the game.

Rex Burkhead is likely out of the year.... hearing that he broke his foot in practice yesterday. It should be confirmed shortly.

Ward, Mendoza or Jones had better step up and fill in at that second RB spot. Wish Castile could have left the reefer alone.

All I've heard is indefinitly, but if it's a broken foot that could be the year. Sucks.

In happier news, Suh is starting to get major attention. Read this gushing article by Dennis Dodd: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/12357902

Suh has a few more games like the last two and it would be hard to leave him off the hiesman ballot

We're in danger of losing complete control of this early. Couple bad third down conversions allowed on that first TD drive. Unforgivable lack of effort/understanding of the play by the receivers on the fumble return. You NEVER just stand there when the other team takes off the other way.

Bo needs to get his defenses together. We're getting killed out there.

Looks like the Cody Green era might be under way now. Terrible drops by the WRs on two solid throws. Our receivers just aren't very good, and that's going to hurt all our QBs. Still probably worth giving Green the shot.

Or not. Just terrible, terrible offense right now. Not sure that FG would have been much help.

Cody Green era is back on, ha. Looks alright. With Iowa St coming in next week I would guess he'll get the start. Of course the Cyclones look kinda dangerous now that we've seen them test KU. And anyone will be dangerous as long as we can't score...or find ways to get the ball to our best player, Helu.
