Tried it here awhile back and didn't care for it, so I went back to Firefox.

Its pretty horrendous. I guess its OK for a 1.0 browser though.
Top Browsers (IMO) Safari 4 (This is an excellent browser for the PC, lacks a ****ing home button though, rather annoying) IE 8 (Finally MS is starting to play ball. Still not perfect, but loads faster than any version of Firefox and displays most web pages faster and finally follows the damn rules of web standards - as much as the next guy anyway). Opera 9+ (A lightweight browser, more popular in Europe than America but fast, responsive and plenty of options) Firefox (Displays pages the way they are supposed to but is slow to open, slow to show pages and has over 200 security risks that have been there for over a year.) Chrome (A decent first attempt, v 2.0 should bring a lot more to the table. Annoying no system menu (File, Edit, Options, Help, etc) though) Konqueror (Eh, I have it just to make sure my webs are viewed right but even if they arent I dont bother fixing them for this browser) IE 7 (This was, at the time, a huge upgrade over IE 6, but still lacked a great deal of standardizing, but introduced IE to tabbed browsing which was first brought to the world by a japanese browser which everyone else eventually copied. Had plenty of limitations but was a much better effort than IE 6) ALl Netscape, and IE 6-, Mosaic, Samurai, Opera 6-, Safari prior to version 4 suck. Dont ever use them. |

Chrome over ie7 anyday. Tried the ie8 beta but it was annoying and couldn't get used to it. Chrome is set as my Internet browser. I'd recommended

They're starting to implement a plugin system like Firefox has. Once they get that done, I don't think any of the other ones will come close. As it is, it's the fastest out there, but no plugins is a pretty big drawback.

EDIT: Not on the PC version right now, but I'd be surprised if the option wasn't there. |
