So I found some soybeans on sale at this store, they were dirt cheap so I bought them. Figured they were in the health food isle would be a good protein supplement to my daily whey protein shakes. The first time I tasted them they were pretty bad and I told this weight lifter friend at work and he said whoaaa. Don't ever eat those again if you want to keep lifting and building muscle. I was like "what are you talking about". He told me they produce estrogen in your body and make you gay, then he laughed. But for real, they produce estrogen and you don't want that. Thought I would do some research when I got home and man, I never realized that SOY did that. Who knows, maybe it's one of those best kept secrets for all those men who want to become a transvestite. I think Bob actually has been eating alot of soy because he has manboobs, or should I say SOYBOOBS.
Anyway, I thought that was an interesting fact and wanted to share. Maybe help prevent some of our good mane brothers who are into fitness from becoming gay...............just kidding. For real, guys, don't eat SOY, unless you want manboobs and want to "like" watching chick flicks with your lady. http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53327 |

They don't Produce Estrogen, They have estrogenic tendencies in the body. This has been known for quite a while.

No doubt soy contains oestrogen, but that article is just plain scary (as in, such a load of bollocks you can't imagine who wrote it).
