Default OT: Halo 3 ODST live action trailer

Makes me excited if they actually do go through with a live action Halo movie. And hopefully the guy from District 9 will end up directing like he was originally suppose to.

Oh and can anyone here show me how to embed a video.

Edit: Thanks Rock Chalk. Got it.

This is where my nerdness kicks in.
Orbital
Drop
Ship
Trooper.

Kinda like the Delta Force in the Halo games.

Last time Bungie made an ad that good, it did nothing but let me down. All I wanted to do was play the battle in this diorama(especially when they made this to go with it), but it never came.

I just recently played Halo and Halo 2 and I do not understand how so many people love those games. Hell I enjoyed Killzone for the PS2 a lot more at the time, and the Call of Duty series now. WTH is up with those enemies BTW? Too cartoonish for me.

It's like Mass Effect. It's the focus group FPS. Nothing innovative, just everything everyone wants. Nothing special, everything solid.

You have to remember, Halo 1 set the standard for FPS on consoles. Their controls have been copied on it. At the time Halo 1 WAS innovative. Before that, all FPS' would let you have like a bazillion weapons and on a console its difficult to cycle through those.

I think the allure of Halo for most of the fans has to do with the story and the hero. Master Chief is the god damn coolest hero in a FPS.

You liked Killzone? See, Im just the opposite. I havent played a killzone that I did like.

And killericon is right, Halo isnt all that innovative, but it has a lot of everything that people want in an FPS, along with a good story.

The grunts make little toddler sounds when you blast them. I always found that slightly disturbing.

I think they are good games, but certainly not the best FPS out there. Maybe that's because I'm not a big fan of the whole sci-fi world and plasma guns, and the realistic feel of Killzone's weapons are something I dig.

Master Chief is a pretty cool character, but I never thought that characters were that important in a FPS.
Halo has some very strong points though, like the AI. Good game, just never understood why people worship it so much.

There is no rhyme or reason for why I, personally, like Halo more than other games. In fact, I don't play a huge variety of games. But I know what I like, and when I start playing Halo I just don't want to stop.
