Former Titans and Chiefs quarterback Ingle Martin is scheduled to work out for the Denver Broncos. The Kansas City Chiefs released Martin earlier this month. Martin was a fifth round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2006.

Hopefully it's just another arm in camp... Would hate to see us lose simms for any real length of time.

I heard he just had an ankle sprain, which can be bad I guess

But we dont have until like Sept 5th to cut down to 53 so I wouldnt be suprised if they brought in someone to fill in for Simms for the time being

I imagine this is just an extra body to plug in for the rest of preseason while Simms heals.

Assuming Orton goes 3 quarters this week, we might have to wait until the final preseason game to see much Ingles. So I know we're all looking forward to that.

We should sign him just to start him against Chicago so we can say Jay has the weakest arm among the starting qbs
