I know this bump will show up in the Football forum so mods move it as you see fit...

The Pre is the real deal. I got it earlier this week and so far I'm very impressed. I concur with Taco's original assessment re: music player and apps. Both are lacking. That said, there's now some blow back with the iphone apps as users are saying that those apps are either poorly constructed or have no worthwhile use to them. That said, there is a need for more apps for the Pre. To skirt around that however, you can download Palm classic and get apps that you may have used on your previous palm devices.

I'm just getting going with this smart phone, but it's a great device.

Nice one, another good review. I have heard my fair share of horror stories from people getting faulty devices, over and over, and finally getting so mad that they drop it all together, so its good to hear the positivity as well.

I just had the Palm reps out here and they've told me they are going to send me a seed unit so I'm stoked to give it a shot outside of training environments.

Bronco_Doug, how are you liking yours so far??

So it's neat for a week then everyone realizes everything else is way better?

The Wii platform is something that the rest of the industry is going to have to answer for in their next gen consoles. And if my suspicions are correct, webOS is going to reach outside mobile phones and into such things as tablets and fridge consoles - you name it. I believe that's why the called it webOS, rather than something like PALM-OS.

Also, the Wii is still relevant in my household. Especially now that Punchout has been released.
