I have heard her live and on CD and her voice is mediocre compared to great female singers of HER own TIME let alone vs greats of all time ...

Her song writing to me as far as lyrically is sophomoric and predictable .

Yea the music is classy sounding and a nice change from what most pop sounds like now but it's a room full of studio musicians not a band colaberating .

Love the horns , and how well the music is arranged and the smooth sound it has , which I give that credit to the studio musicians .
But she to me is just average vocally .

Maybe people are just into her STYLE of singing and calling that a good voice , cause even compared to bubble gum stuff like Pink and Aguilera , Amy has nowhere near those pipes ...

Like my fav singer atm is Arron Lewis of Staind cause I really like that style .
But I can name a million male singers that have technically a better voice as far as range and control ...

So i hope people/media are just liking her style and not actually thinking she has a strong technical voice like a Ann Lennox or Aguilera or someone like that ... cause i just don't hear it .

But like I said it's a opinion , and maybe I'm just missed the boat on this one.
I have over thought the whole thing for 20 mins and I'm spent heheh ....

But one thing we can all agree on , she is a real looker ...

Man, you guys are worse gossips then girls. And you wonder why women develop eating disorders, pill addictions, get plastic surgery, etc. It's all for the love of a well a semi decent man. Geeze.

As far as Amy goes, I have one of her albums, like the music, how much is her I don't know, but it sounds good and I like it, but I also like Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood so whatever.

She, however, like most musicians and celebrities is a train wreck with an inate inability to see beyond herself. She's not any stupider or smarter then people like Michael Vick who have talent, but blow it all engaging in risky behavior. And as far as more likely comparisons, Keith Richards actually does work in this scenario, aside from the fact that she is starting to resemble him, dude did more drugs and slept around almost as much as Mick Jagger (yet these guys are revered for this stuff and she is a skanky talentless ho?) Now Britney Spears, she's a talentless skany ho, who also inflicted Keven Federline on the world and worse yet bred with the man. At least Amy hasn't damanged children. And I still think she has a good voice, but she seems determined to self-destruct. Ya never know though, the Stones and Aerosmith did enough drugs and seem to have survived.
