no, it doesnt. if you honestly believe the majority of women dont care about income, youre dreaming, even if its subconscious. its about status, and if you look like you just came from walmart, good luck. only some guys can pull that off, and none of them are on this forum. you look the part and be the part.
however, regardless of what i ever tell you, or anyone for that matter, you will always think you're right. |

BTW you are on a football internet forum looking for this so called chick pulling style then are telling us how we are wrong about style. Get a normal T SHIRT and jeans and work on your game. Buying a shirt off the shelf (especially a fighting brand TSHIRT) isn't going to make a women fall on her back for you. You'll get a lot father at the bar with confidence, charisma, and charm vs any clothes you can where. You'll figure it out sooner or later.

fellow college senior.
you seem like a relatively social guy. you should know that affliction and ed hardy are way played out. those designer tees are as ubiquitous as The Uniform (button down Polo, Lacoste, Penguin with a set of Sevens, Diesel, Rock/Republic, Citizens, etc.) what everyone in this thread is getting at is that understatement has never been out of style. you don't have to scrape the bin at walmart to be understated. but there's nothing wrong with wearing a plain-colored tee and some nicely fitted jeans with a pair of unique shoes for some flair. for clubs, something you'd wear with a suit. for a party, clean nike sneakers or something of that ilk. just my opinion. carry on. |

Ha Ha. Look what I found when I typed affliction into google. 1. Affliction shirts 54 up, 40 down T-shirt worn by spiked hair having, club hopping douchebags. Fruitcakes who think they're god's gift to women wear these overpriced rags. Average IQ of a wearer is close to 55 on the standard 200-point scale. Note to club-going women: Watch out for these disease-ridden a-holes if you want to remain free from HPV. And another great type up on these shirts. This one is spot on with pics and discriptions. http://www.fightlinker.com/the-fight...ion-shirts.mma Last edited by azbroncfan; 02-24-2009 at 10:43 PM.. |

at the end of the day, how can anyone tell you what YOU think looks good?
you mentioned DC and Zoo York as brands you like. find the nearest surf shop or skate shop for similar stuff. if you don't live around one, go to a pacsun. if you don't have a pacsun, look at nordstrom rack or macy's. if you happen to live around new york city, go to soho. lafayette/spring street has tons of shops with unique artwork tees. |

the reason im asking you people instead of looking myself is because i live in a town with annual residence of 6,000. only place that sells clothes is a local suit store called maurices and jc penney. i need to know brands because i have to buy this stuff online and hope that it fits, or find a good enough brand that its worth me driving 2.5 hours to go buy some clothes.

I recommend Ocean Pacific. That or something hypercolor. Don't forget the BK's or the Keapa's as your kicks. See if you can find an old Cadillac that still has the hood ornament - jack it and then run a chain through it. Chicks dig that.

Just because you pay high prices for name brands doesn't mean it's "quality" or looks good...some of your posts seem to be contradictory.

But when the original criteria was "20ish year old college kid", I think any real statement of income is off the table......2 or 3 years down the road is another story. But today?

If he's lucky he'll be digging ditches chasing stimulus dollars after graduation.

You have to dress like your the SH#T because everyone is a doctor, lawyer, rockstar, athlete, etc when they start college and in the early 20's.

Myself i wear sevens because they fit and look the best on me. I also wear A&F polos because they also fit me best. I have several pairs of true religion and diesels, but hardley ever wear them, they don't fit as nice. |
