But then maybe thats the solution in and of itself? newcomers can start out with an established GM that we know will make his picks on time and as they get into the flow they can either take over another team when a vacancy arises, or step up to the full GM role when the GM they've been working with decides to hang it up. Regardless though, a mock draft that doesn't have SoCal picking for SF would just feel wrong. This was all his baby to start with and its not like we'd find anyone who'll make more appropriate picks for a team than he could for SF (including the 49ers front office). |

Thats the biggest issue here. I too dont really care but when Florida Bronco explained how he and a few others were doing it i totally understood where he was coming from. But i do think it was on SoCal's and those guys shoulders to enlighten you about the system they had been using so that we could of avoided all this from the get go. Communication people, it goes a long way. I can say right now that if FB wants back in on Detroit and the guy who has them would be willing to take Bmore i would give up my spot on the draft this year so that the guys who have been using this system could continue to play in it. Not that big a deal to me honestly. Last edited by Northman; 02-08-2009 at 06:30 AM.. |

As it is, we just had a communication issue. We've communicated and now that everything is settled, we're moving on. Florida is going to be involved in the draft in some capacity, which is great, and I sincerely hope Socal drafts for SF. Problem solved, no more drama, let's move on. |

while I know the answer to this question, I'm going to ask anyways.
since I'm going to be drafting for the CowGirls, Can I trade Roy Williams back to the Lyons? I'd like to have my first and third round picks back ![]() |

There's is no whining in the draft. I don't even want to be involved if SoCal isn't in it with the Niners. Let's go ladies. Let's have some fun.

"Come on, stop whining. You kids are soft, you lack discipline. Well, I've got news for you. You are mine now. You belong to me. (Oh.) You're not going to have your mommies run behind you any more and wipe your little tushes. Oh no. It's time now to turn this mush into muscles. No more complaining: 'Mr Kimble, I have to go to the bathroom'. Nothing. There is no bathroom!"

Using the draft chart above, amended so that the 0.4 drop per pick continues from 146 to 224, I made a list of how many points each team starts with. I used this list to determine trades that had already occurred: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_NFL_Draft If that list is incorrect, please let me know.
DET 4979 STL 3596 KC 3204 SEA 2714.4 CIN 2528.2 GB 2418.1 CLE 2365.8 OAK 2357 JAC 2290.6 PHI 2170.1 SF 2140.6 BUF 2097.1 DEN 1995.3 HOU 1837.4 MIA 1776.6 NE 1761.6 NYJ 1737.9 NYG 1656.1 CHI 1603.8 TB 1586.6 MIN 1405 WAS 1397.2 ATL 1373.5 SD 1341.6 BAL 1288.2 IND 1201.6 NO 1179.4 TEN 1092 ARI 1086 PIT 1071.6 DAL 900.6 CAR 531.2 I was going to say sorry to whoever has Carolina, but it appears that no one does. Both Chaz and Dbroncos4life have Green Bay, though. Is that a typo? |
