Audi AWD's are fine machines. I was looking at the A6 and A8, but I'm an oldtimer that likes the I6/RWD, something I'm more familiar with. I have a Tacoma 4WD that handles the rough stuff.

No trunk! Jeez, you coupe guys are nuts. Well, not nuts because fast is fun, but I like being able to take passengers. And if there's no passengers, I like to be able to let it rip. There's only a few cars that can do both, I like the cars that can do both.

Actually, that's my toy. I like cars that are fast, period I've always wanted a BMW M3 in Laguna Seca blue If I was going to buy something else other than amercan cars, I'd definitely buy German made cars for sure! |

GM and Chrysler sure brought out a lot of those muscle cars on the market. Olds 442, Tempest, Chevelle, Roadrunner. Huge engines. 396's, 440's, 383's, they sure had a heyday. Still popular to this day.

Latest update
I still lack glass and interior. But therest is done. Still have to run cable for the parking brake. Thoughh the pics dont show it, it has all the electrical run and all the lights and door handles and stuff like that on the car. Just havent taken a pic. This is a pretty fast car with supension and brakes to handle the power. |

Now that I have a family I'm starting to turn into a sedan guy. If money was no object, the first cars I would look at would be a new M5 and RS6.

No. I wanted to stay true to the original style. I upgraded the coil springs from a 380# rate to a 620#. I replaced all the old bushings with urethane, and put a 1-1/8 sway bar in the front instead of the very small sway bar that was in it. In the rear I replaced the 4leaf leaf springs with a 5 leaf set up and added a sway bar. There was no sway bar in the original set up. Of course there is a traction bar and urethane replacements in the rear. I also replaced the original drum brakes with a 4 wheel Wilwood dynalite disc brake uprade.
The Mustang II is definately the way to go in most cases. In my particular case, I wanted to maintain the classic configuration. But I am thinking of bolting in an aftermarket rack and pinion. The current steering box (though brand new) is a 4 turn lock to lock instead of a 3 turn lock to lock like the rack would be. With these upgrades, all the sway and rocking that the car used to have in the turns is gone. It stick in the corners like the newer technology. The ride isn't as smooth, but it also puts the power to the ground well. |

Here are a couple other ponies in the stable. One is a '97 Cobra. The other is an '05 GT.
