Many people don't agree with me when I say that band was always much greater than the sum of it's parts. Highly critically rated but criminally underappreciated publically, those three Buffalo Springfield albums are must owns (or you can just say screw it and get the damn near perfect box set).

Far too many of these guys dying at once for my liking R.I.P. Dewey.

I think there is some music I've never grown tired of. It's never dated. It always has something to offer. Buffalo Springfield created that kind of music. I was just listening to Bluebird the other day while driving. The trade off lead between Young and Stills is timeless with Dewey driving the beat behind them. You still can't hear its match.

Never got a chance to see Lux. The guy was pretty wild judging by the footage that's available. The kinda frontman you want to see from a safe distance (like Iggy Pop). I posted a vid in the CD thread as a tribute yesterday...I can't believe the guy was 60 years old (!)

The material was multi-leveled and touched on many genres. If I had to pick a highlight, I'd go with Buffalo Springfield Again but it's all essential listening IMHO. Furay, Stills, Messina and even Neil Young were never better

I saw GG Allin back in the day, now that was disturbing. (sorry to hijack the thread)
