Hey gang, I thought I would post a couple of things on here. My wife just had our new baby boy in November, 18 months after we had twin girls. Since I've got back from the desert I have 3 months off so I'm going to help her loose that baby weight. I whipped up this little pizza for her today and she loved it. For what it's worth, the kids did too.
1 Whole Wheat Pita 3 slices of low fat provlone Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Ripe Roma tomato Garlic pepper Sweet Italian pepper Take your whole wheat pita and drizzle with the olive oil. Not too much, maybe 1 1/2 tablespoons. Dash a little garlic pepper. Arrange your sliced tomatoes around the pita. Next lay your three slices of cheese over the tomatoes. Sprinkle with a few slices of Sweet peppers. Pop it in the oven at 375 for about 8-9 minutes directly on the rack (it crunches up really nice). It's a great little lunch less than 400 calories. You can play around with it and make up your own. Good stuff.. You can cook them on the grill too, it's 20 degrees here so i haven't tried that yet Last edited by jhat01; 01-17-2009 at 04:54 PM.. |

Hey that sounds healthy but I'd eat about 10 of them. A 4K lunch and another inch on the waistline.
