So did they expect you to just sit there with your truck still loaded and spend both Christmas and New Year's away from your family, with your truck idle waiting for them to finally decide they could unload you? That's not realistic at all. Someone was being an ass, all right... but I don't think it was the truck driver, who was understandably upset by that prospect.

yeah he expected me to sit here in st. Louis until Jan 3 rd .........That was not an option ....... But check this out , tomorrow I load at Dow Chemicals here in Peavy Mo , I am not allowed to get out of the truck at any time , they will tarp and strap the load .........

So you're expected to haul a load that you aren't allowed to inspect? If it wasn't properly secured, wouldn't you be the one blamed if the load should slip?
