Default For those asking about donating to the site

Hey all... I didn't expect it, but I've gotten a few PMs about how to donate to the site. Apparently there are a lot of people pleased with the new upgrade... :rainbow:

I certainly don't expect anything, but am happy to receive when I do. It goes a long ways toward offsetting costs (ie. a new liscence for the board software, server costs, domain costs, etc.). For those who are wondering what is a proper amount, don't worry about it... I've gotten anywhere from $2.50 on up. Just ask yourself how much you feel the site has been worth to you (perhaps the cost of a movie rental or two), and what you can reasonably part with...

And again, I don't expect a dime. I do this out of love for the Broncos and its fans, and with hopes that I can someday do something really special with the site when the time is right.

It's important to note that these are "gift donations" for tax purposes... (I can accept any gift under $10,000 without tax complications. Anything over that, and I have to report it. Of course, that's academic. A fiver is a lot of help if you ask me!).

Thanks for the support!

Hey, Taco, if sending you more than $10,000 is going to be a hassle, maybe I should just forget the whole thing.

Taco, let me help make it easier on you to take paypal and let your forum automatically let you know who has helped you.

You know how to find my # gimme a call and I will help you set up a great easy system that integrates with paypal perfectly and will even automatically uprade users to "Site Supporter" status without you having to do a thing.

Gimme a call I will help you with this.

Will do... But it'll have to wait a bit... I'm behind at work right now, and will be taking a business trip over the next couple of days, so I won't even be able to think about it...

If you make me an Admin I will create you a proper style and put the proper colors on the page

I have to be an admin to get to the style templates , and you know I would never damage your site but I will be glad to help you

I will also set up a 2.50 5.00 10.00 20.00 donate button that you can link when you get time to paypal for integration

I appreciate the offer, but for now, I want to tackle this learning curve... I'm setting up a test forum that I can tweak and learn on...

TJ, this is such an improvement I might have to send you a naked stripper for your birthday. Just tell the misses to run down to the local star bucks for a few hours

Technically, wouldn't you be sending him just a naked chic?

Heh... Portland has more stripclubs per capita than anywhere in the States...

Think about that... More brew-pubs where they brew their own specialty beers, and more strip clubs per capita than anywhere in the nation...

Plus the city is trying to make a land trade deal with a tribe down here so that they can open a casino (complete with sportsbook) downtown...

OK I talked to the wifey who's a guru of taxes and finance (its her job) and she says that the donations are safe up to $12,999.99 so there!

Not that I could afford it but hey maybe if I fake winning the lottery and then claim I lost the winning ticket and then sue the person who really wins it... ah nevermind
