Our only chance is a lot of turnovers by you and a sudden reemergence of our running game.

I also have that same feeling with the shorthorns game on Sat. That said, I had a similarly horrible feeling before the CU/OU game last year. We were supposed to get absolutely rolled. Turned out okay.

College football can be a topsy-turvy world (see Oregon State-USC), but I'm not even going to pretend to optimistic this week.

I've prepared myself mentally by saying this: I watched this team get blown out at home last year by mediocre teams like Okie State and A&M. I'm sure I'll survive watching a top 5 team kick our ass.

On national television.

For the second year in a row.

God help us.

To hear them around here...they are a "team on the rise". And yes, they did smoke your asses last year. Truth be told, if they had a defense that would strop one or two more drives a game, they would probably go beat Mizzou next week.

I dont know, ive watched Okie State this year and they are a team on the rise.

Probably the 6th best team in the conference. I believe UT OU and maybe Tech are better in teh south with KU and MU only better in the north.

They got a potent offense. They ever figure out how to play some defense they will be a tough team to beat.

Sure Zach. Dont get me wrong, MU is the class of the North (**** you btw, I still hate you for being a ****** MU fan), but OSU, Tech, UT and OU can ALL run with them offensively and their defense is atrocious. ATROCIOUS.

OSU's defense wont stop MU much but no way does MU stop OSU. That team is nasty on offense.

TU and OU is a big concern.

OSU and Tech? Not so much.

Maybe I am wrong, but that is the fun thing about sports...

We shall see.

Ha, I love my Chiefs for sure. I am just sitting back and letting what will happen just happen and hoping for the best.

Thank god for my Missouri Tigers or this would be without a doubt the worst sports season ever.

haha, I'm on the opposite side. I'm just glad Denver looks to be relevant this season.

Ha, I guess so.

It is weird though. Watching Missouri's offense going to work on a Saturday and then sitting through the Chiefs offense on Sundays.

Different worlds.

Ugh.

Stomach-punch loss right there. Who'd have thought we'd feel sick about this game because we outplayed them and lost anyway? Bad redzone offense, penalties, and some bad breaks.

I seriously thought we would lose by at least 30, but I can't say I feel great about losing the way we did. We have been doing this for so long now (losing close games to top 10 ranked Texas Tech and Texas teams) that I'm really getting sick of it.

We showed we have the talent and mental toughness to rebound from a blowout at home, but as Bo said afterward, we aren't going to settle for moral victories.

Anyway, we enter a relatively easier section of the schedule. We showed we can be competent on defense, and the offense hopefully found a rhythm. We'll get over the bitter taste of this game and continue to grow. This team showed me something I didn't think they had in them, so I can at least look forward to watching the rest of the season.

After this week I think that we have a shot at making a bowl game. The KU game doesn't look as scary either but still we will have our work cut out for us. We may win 6 or 7 games after all this year. still a far cry from the old days.
