I had a dream last night where Heinz Ward was being interviewed after a game in which his big toe had been crushed (by a buddy of mine, actually). The interviewer (I was watching third-person in my dream) asked Ward how he felt about his injury and not being able to play anymore (he was going to be out the rest of the season) and Ward replied:
"Well, you've got to come as big as your balls." The implication was that Ward felt like he'd left it all out on the field and that he had nothing he would do over or be ashamed of...sort of a "go big or go home"-type sentiment. Of course, what's really funny about the statement is the double-entendre, but either way, I think it's the kind of thing that could appear on t-shirts and/or become a new slang statement. COME AS BIG AS YOUR BALLS! anyway, just thought I'd share... |

Well it would sell a lot of shirts & stickers - but maybe in ways you didn't anticipate.

This kind of thing happens to me once in awhile. I wake up from a dream with a brilliant idea, once I fully wake up and tell my brilliant idea to someone else I realize that it was not so brilliant.

Heh, yeah, the more I tell it the less it makes sense to me, but it sure did seem brilliant first thing in the morning. At the very least, it has made for a consistently funny story.
