I like the Coldplay Viva La Vida CD so far....not so bad.

I wasn't a fan of their last album so much with XY.

I have a cool book of Bill Evans lines transcribed for guitar.

A weath of material there.

PF was one of my earliest guitar heroes (both with Humble Pie and his solo career.)

His melodicism and his ability to subtly weave jazz lines into rock solos made him stand out from the pack in the 70s.

Get it?

Your waltz is in 3-time, and 'Take Five' is in 5-time .... soooo... "I'll raise you TWO" ... see?

Only one step away
Before I touch the bay
Do I still have to pay
Sand between my toes
And nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time

I'm not turning you away
I'm needing some advice
If you think I'm running out
It's you I want to live with
Till I can't go any further
Lovin' you
We'll do it again one more time

Only one step away
Before I show the world
All the hurt you have inside
Only lasts awhile
'Cause nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time
Till I can't go any further
Lovin' you
We'll do it again one more time
Nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time
The vibes and backing vocals were NAILS on this one

** Actually listening now, that's all guitars. The vibes were on Cying Clown.

Here's how to play this song:

1) If you want to play the song in the same key as PF plays it in the video, then tune your guitar to 'A' tuning (low to high: E A E A C# E)

2) If you are worried about putting too much tension on your guitar's neck, then you can drop the whole thing down a full step to 'G' tuning (D G D G B D)

3) I just tabbed the parts - not the entire form (since I'm sure you know how the song goes.)

4) On the first line of tab, you can omit the notes on the 'A' and low 'E' strings if you want (i.e., just play the part of the chord that's on the top four strings.)
