Cool. We're planning a trip through the Pac NW this summer (Dad still lives there) so I'll have to plan accordingly, maybe leave one of the kids there to make more room to bring back beer.
Dead Guy Ale is the one beer that I miss from Oregon (all the others that I drank whilst there are available here).Ben |

Tonight brew - Backdraft brown by Hook&Ladder. A smooth brown ale, with the right amount of hops to give it robust taste.

I bet you are glad you dont live in the People's Republic of California. Some egghead wants to raise the tax on beer by %1800. |

Bison Chocolate Stout = Pretty nice, and has little aftertaste and chocolate doesn't really come through. Strongly believe that it's better from keg, then bottle.

Thanks for bumping this thread. Just got a copy of one of the beer mags that lists all the breweries in the states and Canada. If anyone is heading to OMane weekend, we should put together a brewery crawl. Tommy knockers up in the hills is one of them. |

I drank Leinis in the northeast and now bottled and distributed in Cali. Reg beer was ok but Sunset wheat is a great beer. |

I have to be honest I was not "loving" beer too much on Sunday after loving it just a bit too much on Saturday.

Bluegrass brewing companies' Jefferson Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout
I am amazed how good this is. Little head, dark complex color and very smooth taste. It similiar (but better) then Old Dominion Oak Barrell Stout. 4 out of 5 ![]() |

I was in Oklahoma City a couple weeks ago and there is a cool bar called Tapwerks. 212 taps. I was in heaven.
I also just got back from Germany and went to the oldest beer garden in Munich, Augustiner Biergarten. You'll need a wrist brace after drinking those beers. |
