This Watershed album is moodier and more mellow than she's done before, but still a major piece of personal, emotive art. Last edited by BroncoBuff; 03-22-2008 at 03:50 AM.. |

I went to the 717 awards and saw this band:
http://www.myspace.com/hierosonic I've seen them twice and they pack a few hundred people in a venue. |

The Three O'Clock Saw them open for R.E.M. on that band's Fables tour in 1985. They were okay for a neo-60's mid 80's band, although the vocalist could get a bit irritating at times (the effeminent voice I'm talking about here) Here's their cover of the Easybeats "Sorry" featuring none other than Tom Hanks on keyboards ![]() Last edited by Hogan11; 03-25-2008 at 01:32 AM.. |

Not bad, Hogan.
It looks like a fun show. They could use to break the monotony and could use a little bit of originality, but the last ska-ggae fad has slunk off into the past so I guess that it is "new" again. Anyhow, it looks like a fun show. |

It's curious that they chose the most "ska" track from "All Day" to promote ( One of only two...I would've perferred one of the more straight soul/reggae numbers myself) but it's all good...the disc is really solid. The shows are always fun, it takes an act of God for me to miss them when they come around. They're great guys to hang out with as well. I recommend them without hesitation. |
