So I guess it took him two quarters to learn the offense!

Just imagine what he's going to be like when he gets more comfortable with the triangle and gets to know his new team mates.

And just imagine when Bynum comes back - Amare, Duncan and other elite big men won't know who to guard.

He said before the game that he didn't know the offense real well.

But giving a little time, he will be fine.

He is soft I was pretty happy for him to go thought some other deals were better but I hate Pau and have for a couple years. He gets his blocks but he cant hold his ground and he whines and complains to the refs way to often. For those that b**** about how soccer players act Gasol has been in the fetal position a few times himself off nothing. Have fun he will put up the points and I started out liking him but after a couple years you realy start to see his flaws.

You can always find things to nitpick in any player, but in the final analysis I don't see how Pau doesn't make the Lakers a more complete team and more of a force to be reckoned with in the West. In the end, that's all that matters to me.

Grizzlies acquire Gasol from the Lakers. From reports this morning from a Spanish news paper Marc is set to sign with the Grizzlies for the next 3 years. Its not official and I pulled it from the Grizzlies message boards but I like it. Marc is a 7 footer that weighs 280 and much more physical then Pau so I like this move. Oh and Laker fans didnt you just love Pau's defense in the playoff's now you may get why I told you to watch out for what ya got.

Actually, for a PF playing out of position, he did pretty well.

He held everyone he guarded throughout the playoffs to pretty low shooting percentages.

Definitely better than Kwame Brown.

Can't wait until next year when Bynum comes back and Pau moves to PF where he can do more damage.

Exactly. If Bynum is healthy, I like what this team can bring next season. The 5 you want is set. Just get rid of the soft D label and they can make a repeat to the Finals.
