Default L O S T

They're ba-aack!

L O S T .... January 31st, a week from Thursday. It's a two hour season opener episode, and I've read where they had lots and lots of scripts and lots of stuff in the can before the writer's strike.

For those who've never seen the show ... I would not normally give such radical and time-consuming advice, but this is the best non-comedy TV series I've ever seen, hands down. YOU WILL THANK ME LATER if you join NetFlix immediately and order the first 3 seasons to catch up ASAP, while in the meantime you Tivo or tape the new episodes.

Hey ... football is about over ... LOST is set through the sumer with new episodes, while everything else is off due to the strike ... and if you're like me you cannot stomach reality shows.

Here you go, click here and thank me later: http://www.netflix.com/Search?v1=lost

For the rest of us, let's get caught up a bit ... we had "Flash Forward," with Jack wishing they'd never left the island, and Jack being the only mourner for a short-coffined dead person in a cheap LA neighborhood ...

Removed mine per your request. Sorry about that Buff. If I get time I will try to catch up and see if maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.

I've been re-watching all of the previous seasons on DVD to get caught up for the beginning of Season 4!! It's been quite interesting to go back and rewatch these knowing what I know now!! I'm almost done with season 2! Season three started out slow, so that should be a tough one to get through. But, they made up for it with the remaining episodes on season 3!

I'm totally exciteda bout this season, but I'm VERY bummed that we only get 8 episodes this season thanks to the wonderful writers strike! 24 total episodes left in this entire show!!

Really, just 8 episodes? I thought I read they had the whole season written.

Damn!

Yeah...the 'whole season' is 8 episodes!

SPOILER ALERT!!! - Belows list contains possible spoilers.

Season 4 Schedule Starts at 9:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Time is PST, but check your own listings.

Ep 1: The Beginning of the End (Hurley flashforward) 1-31-08 (Starting at 8:00 with a recap) runs until 10:02
Ep 2: Confirmed Dead (Freighter people flashback) 2-7-08
Ep 3: The Economist (Sayid flshfowd) 2-14-08
Ep 4: Eggland (Kate flashforward) 2-21-08
Ep 5: The Constant (Desmond flashback) 2-28-08
Ep 6: The Other Woman (Juliet flashback) 3-6-08
Ep 7: Ji Yeon (Jin & Sun flashforward) 3-13-08
Ep 8: no title yet (Michael centric.. that's all we know) 3-20-08

All times are Eastern

EDIT: Only 8 episodes were made prior to the strike. If the strike ends soon, there is a possibility of a late airing of the remaining 8 episodes originally slotted for season 4. Otherwise, we might get those 8 late in the year or they will be merged with the 16 episodes scheduled to air for season 5.

EDIT EDIT 1/25/08: Ep. 8 Title revealed: Meet Kevin Johnson - All info still leads to this being Michael Centric.

Only 24 more episodes left in the season? If I read that right I like that move. Sometimes you can only take a story so far. Take for instance the X-Files they dragged that out too far.

Just got done with the first 3 seasons. Good stuff. Crappy thing though is that now I can't just watch the next episode right after they leave me with a cliffhanger.

And now I have to wait a whole fuggin week to find out if they actually got rescued or not.

I guess you haven't seen the commercials they've been running pretty much 24/7 for it. They spill the beans right off the bat.

And, if you look at the episode titles up above they pretty much help out with the 'rescue' idea. There's more to the story than meets the eye, though!! Always is!

Q & A with a lost writer

Some GREAT information in there about all 4 seasons.

WARNING: SPOILERS! There are some things in this Q&A that some might consider as spoilers. But, I loved it and thought I'd share.

Edit: I also updated the episode title list above. Warning, does contain spoilers.

A good show that has us looking forward to a new episode each week in hopes of answering many questions. We have the last two episodes from last season saved on TIVO. We will replay them just before the first episode later this week.

POP-UP LOST!

That was a damn good "Pop-Up L O S T" last night (like "Pop-Up Video"). They sandwiched the final two episodes from last season together, and made an excellent two-hour review/preview ... hope everybody caught it.

00:14 and counting (Pacific time) til season premiere .....

I have a theory about how things will develop .... the "Oceanic Six" (or whatever the number is, seven?) are the only survivors who make it off the island ... the rest are left behind, and are "lost."

The "rescue" will be a harrowing effort - maybe through hijacking this "freighter" we're hearing about. At any rate, when these six people (Hurley, Jack and Freckles are obviously three of them) are finally rescued, search teams won't be able to find the island or the other people.

.... that's all I got

A couple of things come to mind.

Could the island be some sort of time warp? We see hurley and that radio in one of the episoldes where the music was playing and he says "maybe it's from a different time. Just kidding." Then we have the idea of flash backs in time and now with this new season, flash forwards in time. Jack says to Kate, "We have to go back"...could he mean back to the island and time? Hurley said the same thing.

Just a few things I thought about...not really thought through, though!
