Well heres the story. I just got a new headset for my ps3 the jabra BT5010. its a really nice deal by the way. so i was setting it up for my ps3 and my router had to be reset. so i went to reset the router which is less than 5 feet from my garage door. its pretty much right above it on the next floor. so all of a sudden i hear the garage door open. no one else was home at the time. and i had my headset on and it was connected to my ps3. so could that have opened my garage door?

I don't think bluetooth operates at the same frequencies as a garage door - my best guess would be your router (if it's wireless) would access the same band/range IMO.
I could be really wrong, but from knowing bluetooth tech - it's only got 30ft range. |
