I was laughing at some of the pics and it's a huge festival for drag, too! It actually looks like a lot of fun and one BIG party!! Seriously, party on the streets, party in the balls, party everywhere! |

Boyfriend! And he's not taking you! geez!
Brazil flat out rocks. Didn't do the carnival thing but the country is one big party any day anyway! The beer of choice down there is Antartica. Dirt cheap! We were buying them for buck. Food is awesome also. Great people. Beautiful people actually. There are so many beautiful women down there even the nastiest of dudes was walking around with a 9 or 10 under his arm. It was the darndest thing. I think men are in short supply down there or something. |

Yeah...well, he's had this planned with one of his college buddies for a long time. I'm not going to crash the boys vacation! (Although, very tempting!) ![]() I hear that beer down there is like drinking water in that it's just something they drink...not necessarily to get drunk, but to quench the thirst. |

I considered myself a decent dancer until I saw the people party down there. Man they all seem to be professional ball room dancers down there. They make us Americans look like a bunch of fools on the dance floor. I just dig there laid back lifestyle in general. All the people down there just seem to be loving life. Even the folks that live hundreds of miles apart in remote villages on the amazon just love the simple things in life. Good times. Oh you got me dreaming about Brazil now. |

Hey STG, I have been twice to Brazil and it is a great place to go. I will say that carnival is MUCH more intimidating than Mardi Gras in NO. It can be dangerous too from what the natives tell me.
I have a buddy with a Brazilian wife, yes Meck he is a lucky Guy, and she told me some stories about how they take advantage of americans, but mostly women. Oh well, it is a phenomenal place that parties like no other in the world. He will have a bunch of fun. |
