Does this mean we are heading out a little earlier than 11:15 John?
And we are still on for shopping Sunday, correct? |

Yes we are on for sunday afternoon. Just waiting for last minute tailgatters to PM if they are participating. I would say 11AM but if there is a site to check traffic, i will consider earlier but if 11am leaving gives about 40 minutes of extra time to get there by 1PM. If you are driving your car, we will caravan and just park yours on hill so you wont need to pay. More details to follow.

As of right now, we will be at our regular area near the marquee (same area as last few years). No RV spot so come in off of Friars road and make a u turn to marquee. The marquee is right at the entrance on Friars Road. Spot is about 50 yards to the right of the marquee (if you are facing the marquee). Lynch and I should be there no later than 1PM. Grill should be coming from some Broncos fans in my group around 2PM. PM me for any questions. Not sure what time anyone else is getting there.

Reporting from San Diego. The weather is nice now, kinda cool this evening but expected high is 69 tomorrow with sunshine. Quite a change from the 20 degree weather in Illinois this morning. Crawdad is in the house, let's get this party started. See you all at the game.

Man Sarah and I really miss coming down for this. Depending on dates next year and on what our living situation is we are really planning on making SD a tradition. It was a blast last time we were there even though we got the shower all afternoon. And for the seats where they are and free beers and food, I'll pay the extra for the tickets no problem. Put us on your request list for next year man. Enjoy the game...and GO BRONCOS.

no problem as long as you stay safe! BTW: weather wont be a problem this year. I just went outside in shorts and it feels great. I wore pants all week long and then we have this great "fall" weekend. Looks like I am going "Meck77" tomorrow. Finally, great weather in San Diego this time around. |

Damn Chargers PR department jammed me up on the pass. I applied for the pass. They were supposed to email me a notice by last week Thursday. Of course that noticed never came. On friday I emailed a guy in the PR department. He said my name is in the system, but I'd have to wait for the PR department to email me...even though he's listed as one of the assistants to the head of the PR department. So I called them up this morning. Nobody picks up. I emailed the head of the department, and he tells me that they can't give me a pass. So why couldn't they have told me that on Thursday? Okay, so I can't get a field pass. So I asked him if I could get a pass in the press box. Nope.
I don't have a problem with them declining me. It's MNF, so it is a hard pass to get from a small paper. But why did I have to go hunting them down to get an answer? I never have that problem with UCLA, USC, the Dodgers, or Lakers. I get an answer the same day, normally within a couple of hours. But not the Chargers. I can see why that orginization has never done anything of note. They can never get anything right. Have fun at the game fellas. I'll be watching it at home this year. |

Well, I am back amongst the living and headed up to LA to have Christmas dinner with my brother. We definitely need to get an OL for Christmas. You cannot take on a defense like SD with half an OL. Like I said before, have a Merry Christmas, Keri, I hope Santa brought you everything you wanted.

Troy and his autographed gloves (not sure whose gloves they are but someone from the sidelines handed them to Troy after the game worked out perfect so when we got the buses, he had them signed.....

I didn't think of trying to get any autographs, i just thought the team wouldn't be in the mood.
But its cool to see the team give some time for the kids. |

nice to meet some of you that never did before. Miles makes another game and was great (with wife). Crawdad came by the tailgate already slammed (as you can see by the group photo) and was having a great time hours before the game. This is why the tailgate is so important. Great time before and after the game makes everyone want to meet up again regardless of the game outcome. Thanks to all!
