Who says you are hosting anything CBF unless you are on your own? Anyone that buys from me gets the tailgate included. Tickets are $115 and includes tailgate. I know it is hard for you to actually go with this plan as you and tailgatetroll have some running joke on it. I personally dont see the problem with including it but somehow you two do. So, either suck it up and go with the flow or continue to fight it and play little games with TGT on it. Only you two must get it but now you can make a choice. You can also pay for your own ticket and then jump into the tailgate party for $10 to $15. It will include all the food plus beer/soda. I have seen you party. This should be a good deal just on the booze. Let me know. Seats are plaza 54 .

Okay John, Enough of your BS.

I have read back through the entire tailgate thread and NOT ONCE HAVE SAID YOU ARE MAKING IT OR NOT. As far as hosting anything let me QUOTE YOU

[QUOTE=broncocalijohn;OK, tickets for this game are $115 for anyone that bought last few years and $125 for newbies. Looks like it is including beer and food again and hoping I pull a go at it as the game starts at 5 and not 7PM. Still need to convince the wife that I can leave game around 8:30 to 9:00 and make it to LHC with out any problems (just need two red bulls). If I dont go, I am sure CBF1 or maybe Lynch can get the food from me since he lives 15 minutes away. Lynch, maybe you can help with the Costco run if Wifey doesnt help out. Let me know.

NOW, you say,"It looks like it is including beer and food" and "Still need to convince the wife that I can leave the game and make it to LHC"

and YOU also end it with, "IF I DON'T GO,I am sure CBF1 or maybe Lynch can get the food from me".

So let me get this straight, You have now cleared it with your boss aka Wife and you have the green light to go to the game and host the tailgate.... and by host I am sure you mean you are bringing the Bar-B-Q, cooler, tables, food and everything needed to make this happen for all the people that are coming from out of town and have been planning this for months correct

If this is indeed the case, it is all your's to do. Do me a favor.... If you have not let the others know, please do so as the game is less than a week away.

Also let everyone know that lot A is not available to use as it has been declared RV and Directed parking only.

Have a great time and Merry Christmas

Lot A is available for parking behind the RV lot. I am working on someone who has a RV. I didnt bother to say that i was going based on you not contacting me on needing a ticket. You know i own a sheat load of tickets. I also said if i didnt go, I would be supplying the food, beer, etc. The only thing i cant bring is tables, grill, etc. as I am leaving str8 to LHC. I have PM people that are going. You have been running this joke (a beer and hot dog) with TGN all season and has no merit and I personally dont understand it. I am not going to extend my offer when you want to play those immature games. Now, if you want to come to me and buy the ticket that includes the tailgate and that seems ok with you, then let me know. I would love for you to explain the running joke with TGN with me and all others to understand your reasoning. This is my only problem with you. The extras on grill, table, etc. was to help out. I hope others can do this as I am supplying the tickets and food/drinks.
BTW: CBF1, i thought you had a ticket already and yes, I should have started saying this week i was going or at least PM you. Sorry on that part.

BCJ, the joke is in hosting the party without attending and requesting others to do the job of "hosting" while charging for the event.

It's like inviting guests over for dinner, charging them for the food and drinks, and asking them to bring their own knifes, forks, glasses, pots and pans....etc.. And then to top it off, you tell them you may not be there, so they also should bring a stove and dining room furniture. Oh, and BTW could someone pick up the food and drinks!

Now, doesn't that sound like fun!

I personally would decline that wonderful offer!

Maybe one of these years I'll tutor you in the art of "HOSTING" a tailgate party.

The key word is HOST. Look it up sometime!

It's like: "Hey you're invited, carry your ass, and have fun"!

BTW: it was a "private joke" until you demanded it become a public joke!

John,

I called Ace parking today to ask about parking since it has been stated all through this thread that the Orangemane tailgate would be held where it has been held the past 2 seasons in lot A4... 3 years ago we held it in lot N when Meck brought the bus. According to Ace who has the parking concession that A3 is dedicated for RV parking only, A4 is "Directed" parking... I was told we can not park there and the next closest parking is B3 which is "RV companion" parking which each RV owner can purchase up to 2 spaces for $20.00ea and it is not available to those without a RV. There is no parking behind those unless they are making parking spots on Mission Rd. A2 and B2 are "Tailgate zones" which only includes 1 parking space and is reserved ahead of time. A1 and B1 are reserved only. I say this because in the past everyone just parked right next to our tailgate area so we were all together.

Now since you asked me, I will give you a straight forward honest answer on what you consider the "Running Joke" between Tailgatenut and myself.

I met TGN many years ago threw a Bronco message board, I have spent countless game days at his tailgate. I have also got tickets from him in the past. Now here is where the "joke" comes in.... Never has TGN ever sold a season ticket that he owns for a penny over what is listed as face value, Nor have I to anyone on the Orangemane. Now let's get to the best part shall we If you or anyone else on this site have ever been invited to Tailgatenuts party, and I know that many have been, you have been treated to one of the best parties at the stadium... Not only including beer, scotch or whatever the drink of the day is, but also soda, water and some food that is to die for including Steak, shrimp, chicken, gumbo, Roasts and all the trimmings. And you know what John, Not once has he ever asked for money for all of the time, hard work and hard earned cash he spends throwing his tailgates at every home game. The past 3 season in San Diego I have taken not only Tailgatenuts, but also Meck77's lead and supplied food for the grill, chips, beer, expensive booze, cuban cigars, Bronco beads as well as bringing the grill and whatever was needed without charging anyone anything. This is supposed to be an Orangemane tailgate party, Not let me sell you tickets at a profit of $23.00 per ticket for repeat "Customers" and $33.00 for "Newbies" as you put it.

Those of us that make "jokes" are doing it because we like doing our thing to be around others that are coming from out of town and want to get together giving everyone a place to feel like they are at home.... without making money off of them, Kind of like friendship, not a customer.

As far as getting a ticket from you, I do not need one of yours, I can buy a single game ticket (yes they are available) on the field level, not obstructed for $92.00 ea. I just would rather sit with a group of friends that are coming together to share there love of our favorite team.

Fair enough?

I just want to hang out with the fellas and ladies, socialize and have fun at the game.

Drink some cold ones and enjoy some food, but since im so late getting in, going with Johns deal isn't bad in my book.

First of all you two yahoos, I said i might not make it but I WILL SUPPLY THE FOOD AND BEER/SODA and asked CBF1 and/or Lynchmob to take it down. FOr any of you two or anyone here that thinks selling anyone here tickets $23 over face which includes food and beer can kiss my A$$ and go somewhere else. Good for TGN to offer everything for free. I dont expect it and have always contributed cash wise to OM tailgates. Next time you two Fs want to get the facts str8 on the "hosting" part, come back and show me where I said i am charging $115 ($125 for newbies never came about as you can ask Crawdad or Lynch if I charged them that price) and not include the food and beer. All I said was I might not be there and I would need help on the tailgate. I have never ever said i would buy the food, beer and all and then cook for all 50 people. 50! When will the next time you two shell out over $40k for Chargers tickets just to have one great party where almost all dont have to bring more than themselves and pray to God the bandwagon doesnt jump off to lose money on a regular season game like eating 15 Ravens tickets or knowing that your credit card is charged hundreds of dollars in interest well before the preseason starts? How about losing over $5500 before the regular season starts because of preseason games that sell for no more than $35?
You two holier than thou have no clue what I have to do every year for one game and then you criticize me? F you. TGN hides behind Denver because he could never pay over face value for a ticket and actually let someone who ownes that ticket to make a few dollars so he stays home. TGN probably has a good tailgate party and if he wants to pay out for everyone to go to his party, so be it. I am not here to do everything for food/beer, cooking, TICKETS and organizing for less than $23 a pop. If anyone out there wants to b**** about paying $105 a ticket last year for everything provided when I sold 5 tickets on stubhub for $200 a piece, please let me know so i can cross you off the list and you will not be burden with paying the outrageous price of $23 over face. I wish you two could have been there in the Chargers/Broncos lean years where i bought extra tickets for flakes that never paid or showed up and I was out there selling on the street for any price while everyone was tailgattting. If it happens again, it wont be like that. 2438, if you agree with CBF1, why dont you man up and pay for the two Chargers fans that flaked out on the $38 from last year. Seems i did you a favor and got screwed. When were you planning on paying me for your two Charger "friends"? I will delete some messages out in my PM so all those that are with CBF1 and TGtroll, can PM me and let me know. I am sure there are others that would love the seats I provide and food/beer for $23 over face. I hope it is only the three that have beatched or agreed with the other opinion. Next time CBF1 and TGtroll, get your facts straight.

BTW: I park in Lot A before game time with no pass and have never been turned away. It is the best secret to get in from the street above the main entrance. I have had no more than 2 cars in front of me and I have parked there at least 4 times. It is possible!
