Though the rocket balls look cool and all, it takes some touch and good decisions to be a good QB in the NFL. Rosenfels looked like the better QB last night.

Jay was throwing falling backwards half the night. The longer the the Broncos were trailing, the harder he threw it.

I know Bronco fans are enamored with his arm, but Rosenfels took him to school last night.

The only Bronco to make the trip to Houston was Marshall. He was excellent. The rest should be ashamed of thier performance

Why do you even come on here? You know what you are stating is complete non sense. There is a major difference in personel on the offensive and defensive lines for both teams, both which favor the Texans. Cutler is a fine quarterback and a helluva lot better than Sage. If we ever give our quarterback some protection, he will make any defense look like a Chief defense.

So if you were a GM seeking a QB for your team and Cut along with Sage were both available, you would without a doubt take Sage...is that correct??

Every word of my post is 100% correct.

All QBs with ultimate protection can pick apart a defense. Cutler was throwing downfield into coverage several times. Most of his throws were rocket balls.

There was a disinct difference in the two QBs last night. Who knows, maybe Cutler will be the best QB of all time. But he certainly isn't right now. Fact is Rosenfels looked like the better QB. Protection included.

Sage has been in the league for more then 5 years....Cutler is in his 2 year....

By your logic, Collins is twice the QB Croyle is....

Stokley out, Graham down, Walker may as well have not been out there.

Kinda difficult to find a receiver when the only one you have left or right is blanket covered.

The pressure was in Cutler's face all night. Sage didn't outplay Cutler, Texas D-line outplayed Denver's O-line. Sage for all the time he had looked ok, not great.

Great assessment, one play that sticks out is the pass to Scheffler. Cutler rolled out to his right had all day to throw the ball... no pressure in sight at all... and he threw it off his back foot... the kid is a mess! The most telling comment came last week... The kid will try to throw a strawberry through a battleship!

Look, he definitely made ill advised throws, and he's going to continue to do that. But he'll learn.

That sounds like a great excuse. But I have to ask you, with all the pressure, how many time did Cutler throw the ball away in last nights game? I cant remember once, off the top of my head. Instead, he forced the ball into triple coverage in the end zone on one drive. Threw the ball into the hands of another defender inside the 30 on another drive, and bounce the ball off a defenders hands at least 2 other times in the game.

Fact is, his decisions were very poor.

It's not the stupid throws... young QB's are expected to do that. I would be concerned with why he throws the way he does. It looks like he's never been coached. The only way he knows how to take steam off of the ball is by throwing off balance... that shiat won't cut it in the nfl. The scheffler pass is a prime example...
