I actually haven't had a chance to get back home since late September.

Whenever I go a few months without getting back...I have these nightmares of pine trees through my roof and a family of bears kicking it in my living room.

I have a ticket for coming up next Thursday for the weekend to get the motorcycle started and break out my winter fishing gear for Priest Lake.

I can't wait!

It's FRIDAYYYYYY!!

Great weekend ahead, too! Civil War football game tomorrow (Ducks will probably lose...but, it's always fun) great concert tonight (Aphrodesia) and Broncos/Raiders on Sunday. Think I'll ski in the morning and watch the game on the mountain!

Hey, if you have time, we'd probably be able to meet you at the Falls Inn or Lou's Place... or one of the establishments in Priest River for a beer and some Broncos talk...

We don't have a whole lot of snow left... it was cold enough that the snowflakes were the light, powdery kind. Roads aren't too bad... just a tad bit of ice in the shady areas (on the highways; county roads are pretty much compact snow and ice).

This game is the most important of the year. It's about bragging rights! It's Oregon State Beavers at Oregon! The boyfriend is an Oregon State fan and one of my good friends is an Oregon State fan! I need my Ducks to win!! It's going to be a tough one! I can't believe I'm saying that.

Hey, I spoke too soon on the snow here, Worm.... today brought 4-5 inches of new snow and it's still falling.... there were more than 100 slide-off accidents in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area today.

It does look gorgeous... when we went to bed last night, there was about 4-5 inches of new snow...by morning, one can make that at least double; it's still falling and looks like it's trying to turn to freezing rain, which will make driving a nightmare today. We told our daughter she's just gonna have to miss church this morning 'cause the county hasn't plowed our road yet, so we'd be pushing several inches of snow with our front bumper at least for half a mile out to the state highway. Dunno if it's been plowed either, though....

Yeah, sorry about the Ducks, STG... it was an exciting game, but a disappointing ending for Ducks fans.

Satellite broadband doesn't work all that well when you're getting a lot of snow. I had to keep sweeping off my dish (and my directv dish, too, for that matter) all afternoon.

Bahhhh, humbug! Someone stole all my candy cane lights from out in front of my house last night! How crazy is that!? They didn't take any of the really expensive light displays, just all my candy cane lights! Kinda funny, though!
