Default Injury question

I need some help. I think I tore my calf playing football a week ago. It was sore from playing the previous week but I played through it ok. However after playing on it again I started limping uncontrollably (I couldn't move my foot right). I had a sharp pain on the outside of my calf about six inches directly above my ankle. I stayed off of it for a week and iced and massaged it. I decided to try running on it again today and after mile two is started to hurt and I finished limping. It hurts pretty bad again.

My questions are:

1. Do I have a torn calf? If not, what?

2. How long can I expect this thing to take heal? Is there anything I can do to expedite the healing process.

3. What other cardio can I do? I'm not real jazzed about sitting around during the holiday season.

I'd say it might not be a bad idea to see a doctor....

A shot of penecillin in the ass should do the job

Head to one of those "massage" palors. Have you leg rubbed. Ask for the Happy Ending.

I'd personally suggest walking into the nearest King Soopers and taking a dive in the produce Isle. This could be your big ticket

I second that!

as far as cardio Kaylore, have you tried the elliptical? pretty good cardio without the impact of jogging.
