I'm applying for an active guard job in CS and was looking for info on schools, where the best place to live is, or any additional info that might be useful to a young couple, with an elementary and junior high school age kids moving to a new area.

I grew up near Acadamy Blvd on Chimayo Drive before Dad got stationed in Germany. Our first visit back to the neighborhood made us happy we had left.

Colorado Springs is pretty nice and fairly clean for a city of its size IMO. You also can get into the mountains fairly easily on weekends from there. I'd personally live there before Denver.
