Surpised no Husker fans are in here right now. Huskers up 10-3 over #19 Texas in the first half.

First: lets see if they can play that well next half (they have yet to put a whole game together this year).

Second: WTF am I watching? I should be happy, but right now I'm just confused as to who that team is in white and red. It's like they are actually trying or something. Our defense only giving up 3 points in a half? Never in my wildest dreams.

Colorado finishes 3-0 vs. the South this year, and now beleagered Nebraska leads Texas by 2 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter in Austin. Missouri and Kansas are highly ranked ...

The North has risen again!

Can't play 8 in the box all day ... both these late TDs were because of that.

The announcers wanted to congratulate us on the moral victory, but **** that. We had a two td lead against a mediocre offensive team. Our defense seemed to remember in the 4th that they aren't supposed to be able to tackle, so they let Charles rip them for 200 yrds IN A QUARTER. I'll put this one up with the 05 Texas Tech, 06 Texas, and 06 Auburn games as signature Callahan losses. We surprise everyone by playing lights out, and then blow it all at the end.

I thought after the quick TD in the 3rd that we might do something, but no, we went back into a shell and let Texas get back in it. When we intercepted McCoy and then preceded to do nothing with the ball, I was pretty sure this one was over. When we drove to that same location and then fumbled it? There was no doubt. We played tougher and with some fire this week, but I can't pretend I'm happy with the game. We should have won it. Our coaches just managed to suck a little bit more than Texas'.

First time in 46 years. Black Shirts showed up for three quarters and then single handedly put Jammal Charles in the running for the Doak Walker Award.

Neither do I. It's just that most of the rest of the Big XII is even worse. Took Mack three quarters to figure out what the rest of the league already knew - the Huskers can't stop the run.

If Texas hadn't sucked all year at running the ball, maybe they would have tried this strategy a little sooner.

Well, to their credit they still managed to get the win and in the end thats all that is important.

I feel terrible for Keller. He has had some up and down games, but he has been one of the teams only real leaders this year and he came up big in this last game. Hopefully he will get drafted and have a chance on an NFL roster.

That being said, Ganz was supposedly neck and neck in pre-season with Keller, and he did come in and look good on that last drive. I think a few starts for Ganz could help us a lot next season, and make him the logical starter opening day 08.
