Yeah I just had to get my point across again though Socal, I Think we also agreed that it's a waste of time arguing for hours when we both know I am right.

What a ****ing embarassment. I DVR this game and get all excited when I come home to watch it, I'm watching a pile of ****. Fleury's rebound control is about as strong as Bob's discipline at a buffet.

The Pens better RAPE Anaheim tomorrow..not win, RAPE.

I admit it was pretty hard to watch but on the flip side the ducks are having issues so the pens should be able to rebound at their expense.

Penguins win 5-4.

Something is wrong with Sid though, he is definitely off his game. He had a nice assist, but he's not spot on yet.

Sykora with a 3 point night.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=3055583

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby was back on the ice Tuesday morning after missing Monday's practice because of a bruised right foot.

"It's already swollen and bruised and, with a couple of days in between [games], I don't want to go out there and make it swell up," Crosby told local reporters Monday. "I just want to get the swelling down and make sure it's ready for Wednesday [against Montreal]."

Crosby, who said he intends to play Wednesday, hurt the foot while blocking a shot by Anaheim defenseman Francois Beauchemin in Saturday's 5-4 victory over the Ducks.

Local reports said X-rays didn't detect any fractures in the foot.

"It was a different foot, so I didn't think it was the same thing," Crosby told reporters. "There was pain there, so obviously something went through my mind, but the X-rays were negative so that's a good sign."

Thoughts automatically turned to the spring, when Crosby played the final weeks of the season and playoffs with a stress fracture in his left foot. The Penguins didn't reveal that injury until after they were eliminated in the first round by the Ottawa Senators.

MTL 3 PIT 2

I was very impressed by rookie Montreal goaltender Carey Price tonight. He robbed us of about 3 goals. Crosby was purely dominant tonight but we just couldn't cash in on a couple outstanding oppurtunities he set up, in part due to Price and in part to due the stupid incompetence of Recchi and Malone. I hate that they left Sykora on Crosby's line for all of 1 game and then started to change **** up every night. It's stupid. He needs that winger on his line. He got only 1 pt. on the scoresheet but was truly dominant, I feel bad for Sid, he should have had a 3 or 4 pt. night. Flower is still very inconsistent, he was good the first half of the game, but let in some weak goals.

Coach Therrien really lit into the team tonight after the game.

PIT 6 TOR 4

Crosby with 2 goals. He really could have had a couple more points too, but I'll take the two. He has been playing real well the last couple games but it hasnt quite translated to the scoresheet, but he is back to the Sid of old. Just a inch here and there away from 3 or 4 more points on the season, tho. It's ok, the averages will balance out and those small things will start to move in his favor.

Shero declines Ducks offer

According to an source, the Anaheim Ducks have expressed an interest in Penguins forward Eric Christensen and have made a offer for the talented forward. The Ducks are believed to have offered defenseman D Maxim Kondratiev for Christensen. The offer was declined.

There is also strong speculation the Chicago Blackhawks have inquired about Jarko Ruutu but I've been told Shero is reluctant to trade anyone from his roster this early in the season.

The Penguins have recalled defenseman Alain Nasdreddine from WBS

Brooks Orpik has been cleared to play after suffering a mild concussion Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs

Georges Laraque is expected to return to the Penguins lineup Wednesday night. Laraque did not dress against the Maple Leafs due to a sore groin

Rumors around the NHL
Stars pursuing Forsberg: The Stars have joined the list of teams in pursuit of free agent C Peter Forsberg, sending GM Doug Armstrong and club official Brett Hull to Sweden to try to woo him, according to the Denver Post. "Just like many teams in the league, we believe Peter Forsberg is a great player," Armstrong told The Dallas Morning News. "We were there. He was there. So we dropped in."

Drury demoted to Third line?
As The New York Rangers continue to find their way in this new season, coach Tom Renney is moving around his lines to find a spark. The bigger change involved moving star center Chris Drury to the team's third line with wingers Petr Prucha and Ryan Callahan during a team practice on Monday. Scott Gomez moved back to the top line with Jaromir Jagr, and rookie Brandon Dubinsky centered Martin Straka and Brendan Shanahan on the second line.

Morris to Philadelphia?
The Flyers are interested in Coyotes D Derek Morris, according to the Ottawa Sun. However,
Flyers GM Paul Holmgren denied that Flyers are trying to acquire Morris. The Sun said the Bruins also inquired about Morris, who will make $3.9M this season and $3.95M next season.
